twu sucks

why hasn't your union ask for a 30 day count down?
Because the INT'L does not want it. They want to appease the company because they fear BK. And because they don't have the NADS to strike.

From March 2010: "The Transport Workers Union has formally asked the National Mediation Board via letter Thursday to release it into a 30-day cooling-off period. That would start the strike clock ticking for American Airlines. However, there's no indication that the NMB will grant the request. American on Wednesday night said it expects mediator Terri Brown to announced Thursday that she was scheduling additional sessions."

Yep - we remember that - and we all remember it was simply a dog and pony show.

"Hey Brundage - I'm going to formally ask for a release but think nothing of it - it's all a show for helping to keep the rabble in line - Phat Don assured me the TA would pass so you and yours needn't worry about this as it's only for appearances' sake".

As soon as the POS TA went down in flames the request was very quietly withdrawn by little jimmy.

When are they going to print the next book for us?

The new contract will be approved at todays meeting. Phat Don fired up the printing press in his garage.

I hope the paper he uses this time is more like that of the old Sears & Roebuck catalogs - for the same reason they were so popular a hundred years ago ...
