The ex-MEC chair westie is the guy who wanted to be able to call the company to "tattle" on East aircraft on 2 engine taxi's....(crew news video-PHX)

And was told NO by Robert Isom.

I saw that video, but I think you err. His "friend" wanted to rat out other pilots. I think the response from management was that the data didn't support the slander that the East pilots were burning more fuel. They track the fuel usage and the single engine taxis.
 
Maybe the current west number one shows up at 720, but so what.

Number 720 will afford that pilot number one seniority in the sandboxes out west, and, as long as the west pilots stay out west (as they all say they want to do,) there will be no opportunity for an east pilot with a higher seniority to get into PHX or LAS.

So...if you can keep all of your west pilots in place (as if the merger never happened,) you all get to keep exactly what you had before and share any expansion. Of course, if any of you bolt eastward, you open the gate which swings both ways.

If you are not interested in any of the east flying, this whole thing should be moot. But, you will have to walk your talk.

I keep hearing of this quote. Excuse my ignorance, but when and where was this said and is Leonidas the same former MEC chairman with barely ten years seniority?

EastUS is the primary member who uses that quote. I haven't seen him here in that last day or two, so he may be out flying or just taking a rest from the madness.

Send him a Private Mail and I am certain he can send you directly to the thread and date that the statement was made.
 
What a crock. The west #1 shows up as #720 - and it just gets worse from there.

Too bad you didnt take the Wye River offer, Landing. Whether it flies or not depends on the company agreeing to a contract with DOH in it. Your lawsuits arent going anywhere. Youll never get an injunction to prevent DOH. Your only chance is after the new DOH contract is in place. If you think otherwise, please show one court case where an injunction stopped a contract from being put in place. But the devil is in the details, the restrictions/fences. if I cant bid out west it doesnt make any difference if Im #1 or #2001. BTW, it was ALPO, not USAPA, that refused to use all means available to enforce the nic. they were still more concerned with saving the mother ship than saving the nic. snooper

And I'd like to add a little 'sniffer" for the boys out west...the company has already accepted a "DOH list"...the FA's.

Did the FA's out west like it? maybe not. Did Parker accept it and make it so..?

I'll answer for ya...YES.

So...there you go...the company has accepted a 'precident" as it were..the AFA DOH list.

And next up at the plate is the USAPA DOH list...hmmm.

(of course, your ever-increasingly wealthy guru's out west will tell you differently..)

Ah you guys are so delusional, the company won't accept your new list, they won't give you a pay raise, and with the great gift usapa gave our lawyers, the Nic. is pretty much set in stone.

(quick edit: you may be right...I doubt it...but it may be that the west has to take the LOA 93 paycut...hmmm who knows?)

Think again, Parker accepted the FA list as he accepted the Nicolau list while stating that it agreed with all of his requirements.

I have some advice for you...actually, all of you out west: cover up your financial activity with AOL from your family...because when you lose this charade you're playing, you don't want to have to explain it to anyone but your other west brothers in the unemployment lines there in Tempe.

The C&R's completely address all the early west concerns about "protecting seats and flying" out west..(especially from those darn PSA people)

But, this results in a DOH with the Big Kahuna in PHX being #720 in the system...so what? he is #1 in PHX for all purposes....just as you guys wanted in the beginning.

This last rant is classic though. You are so blinded by hate and prejudice that you can not see how ridiculous you are truly are.

I, nor any west pilot has to hide or explain anything to our families about why we are protecting our rights. They understand and support us. You are quick to point out what we are spending.

How are you justifying the huge loss of pay to your family that you easties have walked away from so far? Have you explained to your family how much you are leaving on the table everyday, for what? We could have had a new contract and a pay raise for you guys. But no. The east decided that you guys were going to blaze a new legal trail and test what final and binding means.

Maybe we should start a running total just like your ALPA leaders had. What do you think that it is up to now? $18,000.00-$20,000.00 per year, plus vacation, plus a higher contribution to your 401K . Clock keeps ticking everyday.

Honestly I would much rather be paying lawyers then watching that running total of what could have been. I can drop $2000.00 and be way ahead, good investment. That case will be decided and the bills will stop. Our case will be won and we will have something to show for it, what will you have. No money, no DOH. Just how much longer do you think it will take for USAPA to even bring the first tentative agreement? 2011, 2015? Ever heard of the time value of money?

How are you ever going to make up for the loss of $40,000.00, $60,000.00, $80,000.00? You can never make that up.

What a waste.
 
At some point in the future this tragedy will come to a legal conclusion and the East/USAPA will be solely to blame for the extended economic hardship and the mental destruction of a pilot group.

Im not sure where your coming from, direct. Personally, I make more than any West FO. On final and binding. Later, not sooner, well fight this out in court. No one back here is too stupid not to know that USAPA has about 19 months left to put this together before an election to replace USAPA. If they dont, ALPO might get back on property. ALPO might campaign on no Nic, then have a revelation after getting elected that if we dont have a contract by then, theyve got to use Nic. Their kind of sneaky like that. Remember Wye River? ALPO wanted to give away that "final and binding" arbitration to save the mother ship.

As Ive said before, if you guys all join the union, with your 1700 votes and our guys who care more about pay than DOH, youd have th votes to make a DOH contract close. Throw in our old gravy-train ALPO-phools and you control the results. too bad you cant figure that out.
