What this YO YO jim seitz fails to mention is that the UA mechanics are doing just fine for the moment. We did not get a pension but we did get very large pay increases. We needed relief NOW, not in later years when we retire. We turned the missed opportunity into a financial gain that we were able to collect with our ratified agreement. We can now afford to invest the money the way we want using our own chosen methods. I am confident a retirement plan will come soon enough, but for now UA mechanics are comfortable with our pay raise.
seitz was thrown out of office by the members he represented during our time with AMFA. His bad decisions and inability to be honest with the membership eventually created his downfall. Rather than accept the members decision, seitz fought the election results and turned to the IAM for help. seitz spent many many years attacking the IAM, now since his own co-workers turned their collective backs to him, he defected to the organization who failed as badly as he did. He sided with the IAM to create the AMFA/IAM alliance. seitz shows his true colors to the rest of the world.

I just have to smile at posts like this, because it just shows how oblivious you teamster fools are.
You can't refute the message so you have to go after the man. So typical. Not to worry, no one at UAL has forgotten the campaign promises/lies about pensions the teamsters used to get on the property here at UAL.
As for the rest of your blathering, you keep coming back to our raise....how about you tell the US & AA mechanics what we gave up for that raise.

In the video above Mr. Andy Marshall is promising the world for the US guys. He is promising "industry leading Pay and benefits" not equal or less, but industry "leading". He also promises the pension to them. Ask the UAL guys where their "industry leading" contract is as well as their pension that they were promises and even guaranteed by the teamsters. Remember this video from the teamsters promising all this, it will never come to life if you guys vote in the teamsters just like they didn't for the UAL guys, live and learn from experiences not promises that they just CANNOT deliver on.
