Can anyone test your "theory"? Can you prove man has nothing to do with the weather?

If you/they cannot, then it is just a hypothesis running around looking to become a theory, like the hypothesis that the earth is flat. Hypothesis based on feelings will get you confused.

BTW, realize weather effects, generally speaking, cross the US from west to east taking some five days. Something happening on the east coast will not have immediate effects on the west coast and if it does, it will likely not be noticeable by folks like you or I.

I'll take my Four Seasons, that is the way it intended to be. I have trouble looking at all the brown grass from hills, and have water rations on a yearly basis. Plus my fountain water doesn't have to be treated with all them chemicals. Don't get me wrong, each and everyone of us has their own preference. That is part of what makes this country so Great, Diversity, not just in its people, but its land as well. What I said are MY preferences and I respect where people live. Sometimes I just like to stir things up, I mean no harm.

how about an open letter about the outrageous pay and stock and bonus those bumbling idiots get to make some of the most stupiedest mistakes in the airline If the airline is doing that, then may be the employees with the FFs ought to draft up a letter and send it to Congress too and link the two letters together and see what happens.

No and that's because they actually take delivery. What the airlines do is buy in bulk years in advance to control costs.

Yes it can be proven. Life will go on long after you or I are gone. It's been proven by other generations that thought the world will end tomorrow and that the world was flat. Ironic that your words can also apply to you.

Therefore let's agree to disagree because I am college educated and I assume you are too. Also life is a greater educater than school or books because you see things that books don't teach you.

Overall there is a God. God said the world will end, and we're on His timeline not man's. When God is ready the world will end and there isn't a thing puny man can do about it. Might end in a second or in a million years. Who knows, who cares?

Just to correct this mistaken impression before it spreads.....

Airlines do not hedge fuel by buying fuel in bulk years in advance. They use options, collars, etc on heating oil or diesel fuel whose prices rise or fall pretty much in line with jet fuel prices (what's called a high correlation factor, I believe). If jet fuel prices rise, as they have been doing, the price of those heating oil or diesel fuel options generally also rise by approximately the same amount. The airlines then sell those options/etc for a profit, and that profit offsets the price increase in a like amount of jet fuel. In other words, profits from hedging offset rising jet fuel prices. Of course, loses from hedges offset drops in jet fuel prices when prices are dropping.

Why not just deal in options/etc for jet fuel? Because there isn't a market where jet fuel options/etc are traded.

From what I understand, China switched from coal to oil as a source of energy to clean up their atmosphere. Some think this is just temporary until after the olympics. They want the world to see clean skies over China. Once the olympics are over and the world's eyes have left, they will return to the cheaper, dirtier coal for energy and the world oil price will plument.
