or could it be a catering goof-up? PHL-MAD sugar packets being passed out in coach.
Anyone find any thing else?
You've actually uncovered a conspiracy. United figures if it sneaks its own service items onto US flights, before long, the entire service will be delivered with United components and branding. Then it's only a matter of painting the US airplanes into UA colors, and changing uniforms to the UA standard, before anybody notices.
By then, it's TOO LATE. Kind of like "Invasion of the Body Snatchers." 🙄
(Actually, service items from other airlines show up on aircraft every day. Just in the last two months, I have seen Northwest and United wine glasses on my flights.)
You got glasses????Just in the last two months, I have seen Northwest and United wine glasses on my flights.)
The same thing happened a few years back when a United napkin appeared and everyone thought it was a sign.
If I were United, I would sue US for negligently fostering a belief that the lousy US product is somehow associated with the respectable product that UA offers.
So UA doesn't not offer a superior product onboard domestically that i've seen.
Have you received glassware on the east yet?
Elimintating Sugar Packets on US planes saves about 2 pounds per flight. This is one of LCC latest Cost-Cutting ideas. Next week LCC will be introducing Seat Back Vending machines, the window seat back will have snacks, the center seatback will have have the beverages and the aisle seatbacks will have the alcoholic beverages.
