or could it be a catering goof-up? PHL-MAD sugar packets being passed out in coach.
Anyone find any thing else?

You've actually uncovered a conspiracy. United figures if it sneaks its own service items onto US flights, before long, the entire service will be delivered with United components and branding. Then it's only a matter of painting the US airplanes into UA colors, and changing uniforms to the UA standard, before anybody notices.

By then, it's TOO LATE. Kind of like "Invasion of the Body Snatchers." 🙄

(Actually, service items from other airlines show up on aircraft every day. Just in the last two months, I have seen Northwest and United wine glasses on my flights.)

Dam and I thought it was an exclusive sighting

The same thing happened a few years back when a United napkin appeared and everyone thought it was a sign.

If I were United, I would sue US for negligently fostering a belief that the lousy US product is somehow associated with the respectable product that UA offers.

United as far as domestic service is not all that much better folks... have you been inside one of there older planes, there pretty ratty and stinky like some of ours... and regardless most of there f/a's onboard everytime i've flown are grouchy(not all, but the ones i've always seen onboard). So UA doesn't not offer a superior product onboard domestically that i've seen.

these people know better. I fly UA and fly UA first class. UA has a true FC domestic product. US product sucks. 3 hour flight and no snack in first class. Generic snack basket offerings that haven't changed in how long? Minimal food serve on longhauls. Minimal inflight entertainment. You better face facts--your product SUCKS

We get random pieces of catering equipment from all airlines. Mostly out of JFK, pieces from NWA and UAL. Last week we had DL glasses. Have you received glassware on the east yet?

 CO coffee pots, atlas drawer that are stamped,CO,AA,UA.. been like that forever!! you just need to look closer 😛 😛

Hello, you know damm well there is nowhere to put glassware on our newly butchered aircraft.

I had UA sugar packets last week. I like how you see different Atlas trays alot- Virgin Nigeria, Singapore, Aer Lingus, TAM, Qantas... it's neat to see how far some of those things have traveled. Funny enough, those all fit in the carts while thebulky blue AWA ones don't.

You also see cool oven racks, they seem to mostly be from Continental (old logo) and you see some TWA ones too.

Elimintating Sugar Packets on US planes saves about 2 pounds per flight. This is one of LCC latest Cost-Cutting ideas. Next week LCC will be introducing Seat Back Vending machines, the window seat back will have snacks, the center seatback will have have the beverages and the aisle seatbacks will have the alcoholic beverages.

Will you have to be at least 21 to sit in an aisle seat then? 😉
