United sugar packets on US flight

As a UAL Purser it is nice to hear some favorable comments (for a change) from US Chairman's members. I do make it a point to extend a special welcome to them when I see them on my passenger manifest. For the record, I have seen on United flights, US Airways sugar packets, Alaska Airlines beverage cups, and the best one yet; last week I worked an A-320 from PDX to ORD. All of the first class wine glasses read, EVA Air. But hey, at least they were glass! 🙂

I used to sing the praises of UA until I found out what happens when things go wrong. Their nasty attitude and refusal to lift a finger to help me ("that's what the computer says" is a big turn-off) is why I am no longer an elite level passenger on UA.

Delta may not have glassware in F, and they don't have an Economy Plus, but when your connecting flight leaves without you, they will actually help you. AA and the pre-AWA US have also been very helpful when things go sour.

just like when in 1999 we got black luggage in place of the blue one- that automatically meant we were being bought by american. does anyone listen to themselves before they start talking?

or could it be a catering goof-up? PHL-MAD sugar packets being passed out in coach.
Anyone find any thing else?
have been seeing that for a long time. "I don't care" or I can't read English" catering employees. They do the same thing with soda cans.
Blue for blue, and green for green.( pepsi/club soda, ginger aile/7up)

and the aisle seatbacks will have the alcoholic beverages.

Then I will pay anything for an aisle seat on an A319 - Thee Most Miserable Aircraft Ever Made.
