OK E175 and E170 are the same aircraft same engines same wing but the fuselage has been lengthen(plug) in the E175 so therefore the performance is not the same as the E170

All of the old East 319's (120 seats) are being brought up to the standard of the acquiring company (America West) 124 seats.

So lets go ahead and configure them to create the worst passenger seating pitch of any airline in the country and try to tell the passengers it's really generous. How about Kirby's solution on the 330 , lets do something with the headrest. BRILLIANT! Forget that the passengers need to be midgets to fit . The seat backs on the 330' are so close you can barely get the tray table down , let alone be able to focus on the video screen. We should have configured the HP ac to old US , and maybe we might have a happier passengers, since they wouldn't have been so cramped and have the prospect of DPT.

with PROPER planning, fuel should not be an issue, but then again...

C'mon now....lets not turn this into another (management loving) east vs. west thing ok? Let's call a spade a spade and admit that though the ORIGINAL US was on life support the TALENT...choking here that ran the now defunct American West is doing a REAL bangup job of running the again choking NEW and improved US. I checked there too, and some are incorrect. Seatguru says the US E75 has 88 seatsm and the 319 has 126.
