WASHINGTON, Nov. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- In an election held today, officers of the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA at US Airways elected a new Master Executive Council.
The balloting resulted in the election of Pittsburgh Local Executive Council President Teddy Xidas as Master Executive Council president, replacing incumbent Perry Hayes; and of Boston Local Executive Council President Walter Brannon as Master Executive Council Vice President, replacing Roger Holmin. Master Executive Council Secretary-Treasurer Leslie Miller was reelected to her post.

New Leadership for the AFA!

Great she will fight for her members not like the 141 and 142.
give them hell teddy

142 has a great track record for fighting for its membership.

TWA never gave up any scope language.

Congratulations to the AFA members for electing a strong leader.

This is GOOD news? You all need to have your collective
heads examined. This will do nothing but put additional
roadblocks in the path of emergence, and may even lead
to a shutdown of the company given the militant
comments that have been posted on here in the past
by you know who.

"When the going gets tough, the tough get going."

Godspeed and God Bless, Teddy.

I think she's fantastic. She's passionate, tough, and intelligent and sees the bigger picture. The flight attendants at US Airways are very lucky to have her.

Maybe so, but how many senior TWA F/A's are still working and not furloughed at AA?

So was Charlie Bryan. Where is he now?

That was because ot the TWU not wanting to dovetail the FAs.

Both the TWA pilots and F/As gave up scope in return for a "fair and equitable" seniority integration by AA. Although the promise was put in writing, AA did not follow through on their promise. All the TWA F/As are on the street and perhaps 60-70% of the pilots too.

Congratulations, Teddy!

I can only imagine that A320MGTBUTTKISSER, (don't)USEYOURHEAD, and
Spin(cycle)Doc are wearing black in response. They may need professional help to pull out of their depression.
