With the new contract in place will we now have to buy our new uniforms that have not been issued yet or can we keep our old worn out rags and just keep washing them. Anyone have any info?

The uniform companys have been instructed to remove all the old uniforms by May1. The new jumpsuit uniform will be issued before then, with the deduction automatically from your paycheck. The new jumpsuit uniform is going to be white in color with a wide blue/red stripe and are priced at $44.00 apiece.

JUST IN !!! The T/A passed, the uniform colors are now yellow with union blue stripe. Rumor has it the company has decided the only way to purchase the new outfits is from the union. Sizes will be issued one size smaller than what you wear. They want to keep squeeezing all they can out of you. As far as the cost the $44.00 cost was close the company is selling them to the union for $22.00 and the union is passing them along to us for apprx. $44.00.. All profit is to be passed along to the negotiating team for their outstanding effort and months of work (at our expense) in bringing this fine agreement to a vote.

If the TA passes? The AMT uniform will be a crotchless jumpsuit, chicken yellow, made from 100% sheep wool, with built in knee pads. Launderd, at home, with baby soap and then hung out to dry. GET IT!

Yes, there good...really thought there would be more responces to this silly crap by now...
