How is not negotiating going to advance our goals?  Do you have an example where not negotiating has been successful?
Up until now, Iran didn't have a Nuclear weapon, so I guess not negotiating WAS successful!

Small aircraft at 2000 feet would be an eye popper.

Then prove who to respond to......LOL

Launched from their non-existent aircraft carrier?

As far as a delivery system.is concerned I think that is pretty easy. Put the suckered on a small boat, drive it in to a coastal harbor and boom. Ground blast not as effective as a air burst but it would take out most of the city depending upon the yield.

Wouldn't be very difficult in either case to determine who the culprit was with enough intelligence and with the evidence of the blast itself, i.e. its size, the type of fissile material used, and so on; there's also a very limited list of nations that have such weapons in the first place.  Assuming in either situation it was Iran or NK it still wouldn't make any sense for them to start such a war they have no means of finishing, or winning.

Iran still doesn't have a nuclear weapon.  They're not claiming to, and last I heard the intelligence was they lacked enough fissile material (so far).  They haven't tested one either (no country is considered to have them until they successfully test them).

I'm telling you, some people can't differentiate reality from a G.I. Joe cartoon subplot.

Wutttttt? We have not had a meteor strike in a few million years either. What does that have to do with anything?

Do you have any evidence (I know.... what am I thinking ) that links the lack of negotiation to Iran not having a nuke yet? There is also the fact that Iran has been in the process of a quieting nukes long before the US started to negotiate with them. That is kind of the main reason we did negotiate with them.

Can you think of any other country we have not negotiated with who has recently aqqiured nukes?

From what I have read each reactor has its own signature regarding the material it produces so figuring out who did it would be a piece of cake. I don't think who ever floats a nuke in our harbor has any illusions of it remaining annonmous. They just want to blow one up. The repercussions are not something they are concerned about.

How about from one those little grass fields all over the fruited plain?

Guess in all your scholarly military knowledge you never heard of suitcase nukes?

You do know a 1 Kiloton suitcase nuke detonated over any city would make the 6 o'clock news, don't you?

And who's to say they couldn't get something with a better kick?

A cold war nuke, detonated, only shows who made it, not who detonated it.

Who needs an aircraft carrier? I know of dozens of small airports and the entire southern border is open to ANYONE who wants to cross it !

Come one.  Dont ask questions like that.
Who's living in fantasy land?

"THE TRUTH ABOUT THE ISLAMIC STATE AND END OF DAYS PROPHECY!"

Graeme Wood’s article, “What ISIS Really Wants,” in the March 2015 issue of The Atlantic is a fantastic summary of how the Islamic State (ISIS) interprets Islam – and, perhaps more importantly, how the rest of the Islamic world looks at ISIS. It does a great deal of damage to President Obama’s preferred narrative about how the Islamic State has nothing to do with Islam, as well as his characterization of the terror state as “nihilistic.”

We'll just wait, until they're on our doorstep!

And then you'll have your war, the radical Christian right and will have their opportunity to demonstrate their bravery, (probably by sending other people's kids - mostly poor ones of color...) to fight, and your god will ensure your victory

So what's the problem?

Iran has oil.  Oil = money.  North Korea has nukes.  North Korea doesn't have oil.  North Korea doesn't have much.  I think odds are better that a terrorist could cut a deal with North Korea easier than they could with Iran.

Don't forget Russia. A lot of the military personnel are under paid and bitter. Lots of unaccounted nukes. I would think obtaining one of those might not be to hard.

What does this have to do with Iran and North Korea?
