I have been on some scary flights before, but there is one jet out there that REALLY needs to be retired. I thought we were going to friggin crash on takeoff because the windows started shaking like crazy, the engines were whining, and was just.. blah. New planes please.

What kind of plane do you think you were flying aboard?
What was the date and flight number? What were the weather conditions? What airport and runway were you operating from?
It might not be the airplane at all....

God I hope not N924PS.. that whole flight was turbulent. It was a prior flight that I was just recalling after watching some flights take off and land on Youtube. This flight I was on was back in August from PHX-MCO.. very turbulent in Florida.. storms were very strong there.. lot of wind.. we had to divert over the ocean to get there.
I'm not complaining! I'm sure there are still more planes out there that may have issues other than that one if it had one. I haven't been on a flight since that one.. and we were going on company business anyway.

Well, it hasn't crashed so there must not be a problem. 🙂
It was scary though. I asked a co-worker about that flight, she told me it was normal for the windows to shake and the engine whine during takeoff.

Don't get me wrong, I love planes. I have always had a fascination for them and even pictured myself working at an airport someday. I don't think it's the same now as it was then, but I do work for the first airline I ever flew now. (I was 14 when I first flew.. back in 1995.) I was fine my first flight! The only problem I had was popping ears.
Ever since 2001, with my flights in October and then December, I started just feeling jittery on the flights and it wasn't enjoyable anymore. I sometimes look forward to flying but dread being there once I'm on it because it's.. well, let's just say I can't abort it like I did my flight out of Payson.

paranoid. I just jump up and turn off the TV. Except he says, "Is that
all you're gonna do all
day, just sit around and watch TV?" And I love to travel, so I've
mentioned traveling to him.
And finances are no problem. But he says that he did all the traveling
that he wanted to do while
he was in the service.
