Clearly you were absent the day they taught law in law school but it is fiscally dangerous to say, "We are firing you for X but not him for X."
Then again you think that the arbitrated award "goes away" and seniority can be re-negotiated during every section six.
You also seem to think that trying to win a tractor pull with a 737 is a daily part of life at an airline and it takes a lot more than that to get fired.
Unless, of course, you are a west pilot in which case the physical laws of the universe apply differently and endangering the well being of a cabbage patch doll is a firing offense.

EAST - Destruction of a 737, no prob. East pilots do worse all the time, we only fire you for really big screw ups.
