Yes odie you are exactly right.
What's this I'm hearing about Tulsa only passing this turd by 38 votes? Is this true? I hope so
Be careful without no protection and no solid language the TWU may bump into DFW without regard to seniority. Tulsa always protects their own interest without any regard of anyone else.
Hmmm guess you don't realize that laid off workers still count as part of the Mechanic craft & class for 10 YEARS & since they won't be at work you won't have access to them to get signed cards from them & even if you could find them laid off Employee's aren't likely to help you by signing a card so a mass layoff is actually very bad for a card drive. ;-0
One more reason we will be stuck with the TWU forever, better get all the cards you can BEFORE the layoff. ;-)
Hard to stomach sore losers that just can't get over losing & move on.
Lose with some dignity, the Majority made a choice & we will live with whatever that choice brings.
If you did no more than just vote then you have nothing to cry about, this passed by 48 votes so any one person working hard enough could have changed the outcome or if so many hadn't chose not to vote.
You can't win with som much APATHY in our company.
"One more reason WE will be stuck with the TWU forever,"
"WE" will be stuck with? By your yes vote you helped make it harder to remove the twu.
1aa please stop whining, it passed and its over, time to move on
Oh look a newbie with 48 posts. I already said in a previous post I'm over it.
When we voted down the May 2010, that's when we all lost. What's happened now is a consequence of talking the advice of people like Ken, Owens, JR, Rojas, Pike, and Peterson that BK wasn't a real concern and that we would get better based on bogus and cherry picked facts. Now it is time to move on and make sure that the agreement that has been voted in is implemented properly and that the company does not grab more. With our luck the local leadership will bicker and fight we will all lose more. What have you won? Shitty pay and benefits for the next 6 years? That's a win to you?
