What's new

Voted IN

Its a lie, name one case where it has happened?

It hasnt.

Is this possible?

No it is not. It is a lie. Ask anyone over at United. They changed unions twice.
This is true if there is no union on the floor and the IBT moves in as a first union. Just like the CWA is trying to do with the gate agents. If they ever get a vote and the CWA wins representation then they will start to negotiate a contract for the first time.
The IBT is desperate for dues money. Their pension plan is in the RED. They need money real bad. They will tell you anything they want to get your vote.

Typical Tulsa comment, making comments without facts. No one is going to bump me, I have the seniority to withstand any layoffs out of Tulsa and this isn't all about you.
I agree. What a fool. Hope he shows up out here. If he's getting bumped out of Tulsa his senority should be able to hold 2300 or 2030 shift with T/W or W/T off. He'd need 27 plus years to even think about bumping any of us off day shift. 20 plus to hold swing shift. Wait till he see's the 1 BDR apartment he'll get for $1600.00 a month too. Car gas is almost $4.00 a gallon. Come on out and join the party!

That case was not an election at Trump, it was US Air managing the shuttle the buying it.

Go read the RLA, changing unions doesnt open Section 6 Negotiations, call the NMB if you dont believe me.

ALPA at US changed to USAPA and they are not in Section 6 Negotiations.

The IBT at HP went IAM after the merger, it didnt open Section 6 Negotiations.

SFO is no better but maybe a bit cooler.
😛

A flier? You kidding me?
Why don't you look up the case that's stated in the flier 1AA. Just use the magic google button, I have faith you can find it. But reading and understanding it is a different story.

Thanks to the AFW and line Presidents for your efforts in trying to avoid this terrible contract. Also thanks to Ken, The informer and all who try to raise awareness about this POS. We fall a little short. Tulsa M&R are going to regret this. Time will tell.

Car gas is almost $4 a gallon! How much is the other gas?

I bumped the line for 3yrs. Like I said, it was like a 3yr vacation. When we or they bump you again you can tell your story walkin'.

Well that was under the old language. Under the new langauage you may not be able to bump the system because the company can now require that you have the qualifications they deem necessary before being awarded the position. Are you LMP qualified on all the fleet types? Well if you want to bump into a Class II station you need to be. Run Up and Taxi on at least TWO fleets? 40 hour Gen Fam? etc, etc.

Its a whole new world out there and I dont think your leaders have you prepared for what you have put in place.

Yeah Bob, I sure am.

The lifestyle in Tulsa is very different $32 an hour really does go a long way in Tulsa, when people aren't suffering they tend to make different choices & don't want to roll the dice again when their already comfortable.
Also with the low cost of living many people retire between 55 and 60 so there were a lot of people that voted for the contract in order to get the money & retire leaving this industry forever, I understand you not liking it chuck but as long as Tulsa has the numbers your just going to have to live with it, maybe someday the line will outnumber Tulsa but it will be at least 6 years before you will get another chance regardless.
also in 6 years AA will not be in bankruptcy so the situation will be different.
see ya in 6 years.

BTW I have no problem bumping a line Mechanic either !

What makes you so sure that the company wont go into BK again.
