Strike two? I hope that is not some kind of threat. My posts are my opinions based on my experience on the topic or what I have read.
You almost came up with an original thought. So ball one.

And strike one two three are baseball terms. Have zero idea how that can be considered some kind of threat. So to put your mind at ease. No, that was not a threat.

I never proposed to define myself, just pointing out that you use and apply labels without even knowing what they mean, look you just did it again!!
I never said you proposed to define yourself. You defined me and my kind as "BORDERLINE ILLITERATE". Do you understand now? Just asked for your definition of yourself. I'm so sorry you can't grasp the question.

The lifestyle in Tulsa is very different $32 an hour really does go a long way in Tulsa, when people aren't suffering they tend to make different choices & don't want to roll the dice again when their already comfortable.
Also with the low cost of living many people retire between 55 and 60 so there were a lot of people that voted for the contract in order to get the money & retire leaving this industry forever, I understand you not liking it chuck but as long as Tulsa has the numbers your just going to have to live with it, maybe someday the line will outnumber Tulsa but it will be at least 6 years before you will get another chance regardless.
also in 6 years AA will not be in bankruptcy so the situation will be different.
see ya in 6 years.

BTW I have no problem bumping a line Mechanic either !
I am embarrassed that Tulsa voted yes by a 75% margin and now we have guys gloating about it. We have done irrepairable damage to the entire industry and it will come back to haunt us all. This POS will enable UA and Delta to file their own BK and lower the bar even more which will give AA another chance to get us again. I predict this will happen before the 36 month bump. The hard working AMTs in NY and California and other high cost areas have been hurting for over 9 years now and are faced with probably 10 more unless AA runs to BK again after stalling negotiations. I am ashamed to be a member of the Tulsa base and comments like yours make it worse. I look and see that three out of every four AMTs here voted yes and I want to puke. You let a fleet service clerk and a plumber and a non licensed mechanic scare you into a yes vote. Go gloat to the other yes voters and leave these people alone. When you cash your check a few months from now and see how much less take home you have maybe the light will go on and you will realize what a mistake you made. Also don't complain if you're still here 10 years from now and the line guys screw us over like we have done to them. I can't wait to see what kind of crap AA puts into the overtime and fieldtrip rules. Also the RIF rules which have not even been talked about. You think the TWU is going to do anything for you? You are completely out to lunch on this. Words cannot discribe how disgusted I am with your attitude.

There is one job available, mine. After 23 years and going backwards I've decided to call it quits. This union has destroyed this once proud profession. Time to persue greener pastures. The lackeys in T-town have no idea that eventually their jobs will be gone. Look up the playbook of what every other airline has done and the end result will be what you will reap.

I have over 800 posts, you have 36. You joined this forum on July 23rd. 2012. I believe that is the day we started voting on LBO V2.0 .
You are so transparent. You are here trying to compete with guys that have been on this board for years. Good luck. I'm a 5/10 man. your a rookie. Since you like baseball so much you should know what a 5/10 man is.

Did you get a medal for your 800th post?

Well that was under the old language. Under the new langauage you may not be able to bump the system because the company can now require that you have the qualifications they deem necessary before being awarded the position. Are you LMP qualified on all the fleet types? Well if you want to bump into a Class II station you need to be. Run Up and Taxi on at least TWO fleets? 40 hour Gen Fam? etc, etc.

Its a whole new world out there and I dont think your leaders have you prepared for what you have put in place.
That's BS. You don't need to be LMP or Run/Taxi qualified to bump. You will get checked out once you are there and it's not that big of a deal. Follow the checklists. I don't understand why if we are all union members, why are line guys treating base guys like second class AMTs. We have people in Class IIs that are not qualified on everything you state.

TUL don't believe the hype.

AA what you think about this? This are the guys running your day live operations, doing overnite cks and removing placards. For sure you will get the best out of this group. May be OH can help you with the live operation. Creditors comittee take notes about this.
When AA RIF'd a few thousand out of TUL and they bumped the line in 1993 what happened? AA M&E had moved to the top Line M&E operation in the industry. I don't think they are worried.
