VOTES ARE IN

LA cronnies no less...the PSA senior queens. I would think they would at least vote for Terry G.

Where was their loyalty? I doubt that the majority of reserves voted at all.

Did Brian M put out an e-line yet on the % of f/a in PHL who voted and the total count????

Where is that group?

Did PHL know there was an election???? What am I saying...these folks don't even vote for contracts.
Are you kidding me?? Brian M has been working the runway for the last week at the uniform road shows! Real important business, right?

FWIW, I dont even think it was the PSA girls; Terry had their vote. Try Piedmont/USAir. The senior girl that sent me the "PRO JM" email was from the Trump Shuttle....

PHL ELECTION RESULTS

The polls closed this afternoon at 1330 EST for the Philadelphia election. This election was necessary due to the resignation of the previously elected slate of Council 70 officers effective December 31, 2006.

The new elected officers are:

President John McCorkle Jr.

Vice President Grace Jones

Secretary Daniel Sampey

Mr. McCorkle, Ms. Jones and Mr. Sampey will begin their term of office on March 1, 2007. Because this was an election to fill vacated officer positions, Council 70 will remain on its normal election cycle and their terms will expire on June 30, 2008. Please join me in congratulating the newly elected officers and commending them on their willingness to serve the members of their Council.

After the resignations of the former Council 70 officers the MEC appointed interim Council 70 officers pursuant to the AFA Constitution and Bylaws. Those officers, Interim President, Brian Morgan, Interim Vice President Kim Kaswinkel and interim Secretary Joshua Freeze took office on January 1, 2007 and will complete their interim terms on February 28th, 2007. The three interim officers stepped right in and did a more than admirable job of representing the members of Council 70. Again, please join me in thanking them for the time they served.

The complete certified election results are included below.

Thank you,

Mike Flores, President
The US Airways Master Executive Council
AFA-CWA

There is only 80 f/as from Trump Shuttle, majority are NOT in PHL...but in LGA.

Try again.

What are you talking about? I simply said that the person that sent the email was from the Trump Shuttle. ???

Only 700 something out of 2200 voted?

I don't want to hear another complaint from a F/A. Ever.

It just doesnt make sense, I cannot imagine that many people voted for him. His newletter is cheesy and outdated, drainingly negative, and often his facts are wrong. His newletter is for the "barely computer literate" crowd who haven't discovered USAviation, and need someone else to form an opinion for them. Anyone can bash the union and the company... we all do now and then. What we are looking for is someone who can change things... he is not the one.

Not to hit below the belt but he's not a good F/A either. He only works B on the 757 because its the only place he fits, and he rarely leaves the galley. It was a truly awful experience to be the F back there, getting crushed in the jumpseat while he sweated all over the place... it really was gross. I feel bad saying all that but he was also extremelely lazy, and not interested in any one elses opinions or corrections if he was wrong about something. He has no credibility with the company and absolutely none with the union who he bashed constantly.

Am I wrong or was he trying to get everyone to get rid of AFA at one point? And now he's going to be the president of the airlines biggest base during very important contract negotiations and a merger.

I'm dumbfounded.

I'm well beyond dumbfounded.
I'm PISSED!
Get a collection together and I'll have some friends from the Teamsters visit the little ### and make sure he isn't in the office.

You were expecting more? I'm surprised that many bothered to take the 3 minutes out of their life to vote...

I wish AP ran for LECVP, this could have changed things for Celine. CD and AP would have made a great team.

Oh well. There's always next year.

36 persent voted,

That means that 64% didn't give a rat's arse!

Congratulations you got the representation you deserve.
Save it, Bob. You and Pitbull and Wolf are turning on the people here, and we were the ones who voted!!! Save the "you got what you deserve" speech for the FA's that did not vote. 🙄

I guess this makes CLT's upcoming election that much more important for the entire USA F/A group.

Duly noted. Not turning on the posters here...just very disappointed in the low turn out in general.

For those who voted...keep track of those in the office...what they do, what they say, and how they represent you.

Obviously, those who voted are carrying the entire base.

AGREED!!!!!! Not one more complaint from any of the reserves...I dont wanna hear it either. I cant beleive it! I am just pissed off....

Huh? You mean you never want to hear a complaint from one of the ~1500 who did not vote, right? 😉

Hey douche bag who did you vote for?
Her  ucking dog would have been a lot better than McCorkle.
What do you know about their respective employment records?
You reserves got what you voted for.

I know nothing about their respective employment records. My mention of them being lackluster f/a's was from having worked with both of them.

Based on your posts Wolf, you seem to be one bitter  tch, to quote your style.

And us reserves got what you senior people voted in. There are much more of you than us.

Okay PHL Flight ATTendants listen up! Without John McCorkle in the as Pres, YOU voted in 3 RSV flight Attendants! John will be representing your group through the next negotiations.

So, like him or not, you'd better get on his good side so he can do good by the blockholders or we will get a contract that is all RSV benifits.

You don't know how it works you say? The local office Reports to the Joint Negotiating Committee (Mike Flores, Carol Austin) to find out what the members want. So like it or not, John, Grace (RSV)and Dan (RSV) and Omar (RSV) will be deciding what we get!!!!

You'd better start liking John, all you blockholders!!!!!
