What Is Up With Alb?

I was wondering what the deal is with ALB? How is WN doing up there? Seems to me it can't be doing as well as the other northeast cities. They have never expanded ALB beyond the original 10 flights to 3 cities. With the Sept additions, every northeast city (PVD, BDL, MHT, BUF, ISP) see additional flights with the exception of ALB. Anyone have any thoughts?

Having lived there for a time; I can definatively say that ALB needs at least 1 more afternoon departure from BWI! Am not holding my breath, though.

Why doesn't SWA service ALB-MDW or BUF-MDW with non-stops? ALB and BUF need a couple of flights that go West so you don't funnel everything through BWI.

Southwest has said in the past it was due to facility issues at MDW, and that the completion of the new concourses would solve this problem. Remember, this was also the reason to delay Richmond... Well, I believe the last part of Concourse A opened in the last few weeks... So we will have to wait and see...

As a frequent WN user out of KALB (hence the moniker), I believe it is time for an ALB-MDW non-stop service. I wonder if there is a demand for ALB-PHX non-stop with connections to the west coast?
