I'm a wee bit confused. With todays "legal" actions by the judge, WHEN is the earliest that UA/AMFA can WALK ??

AND THEY "WILL" WALK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally, a union with GONADS.

My union voted for a 9.5% paycut. I think we need to work 9.5% slower.

I expect profits now that all work groups have given cuts. Let's see how good management and the judge really are.

Why do you consider AMFA's decision not to work on aircraft for a ridiculously low wage "colossally-stupid" ?

Hey bozo, your union leaders and GlennJakeTiltonBrace along with the UA Board should be immediately removed by Judge Wedoff. None of those characters have inspired confidence or leadership. Reach down into the ranks for someone who is hungry for the opportunity to lead. You know who they are. Elevate and follow them.

Next, cut a deal with the PBGC. You both know this is inevitable, whether or not UA survives.

Lose Ted. Probably the whole DEN thing could go.

Fire any and all consultants on temporary contract. Probably the law firms too.

Each day have each employee contact one customer and schmooze. Kind of like that gimmick of wearing your watch on the opposite hand as a reminder of your mission. Use this opportunity to sell.

Find a sugardaddy overseas. Get an Asian airline to buy 24.9% of UA. Then just maybe you'll find another investor willing to invest because Lord knows the banks and feds won't. Despite what your management, consultants and union leaders told you.

Present a clear, simple value proposition. "Fly the friendly skies" or whatever. Frankly, I think you should bring back those ads featuring the employee testimonials. Especially the one with that crusty 747 captain. I want to fly with that guy!

Fire the advertising people who create all those silly pastel ads. Your product is perishable and you're competing on price.

Pay those travel agents something. They control your most lucrative customers.

Shall I go on? Oh yeah Ronin, one more thing --- if you don't like who is driving the bus then either get off the bus or get another busdriver. Simple enough for you?

Incorrect. ALL work groups(AMFA/AMT's) did not "bend over".

Actually you are wrong, AMFA members can strike at any time they desire. It's called a wildcat.

But I suppose there are some that consider allowing a BK judge to dictate ones wages and benefit schedule is an allowable action. To allow an airline to recover from BK, and be once again lead into the future by the same inept management that placed them into BK to begin with. Shame. That action must not affect those with that reasoning, or they are operating on response mode only, with no logic or remorse to family.
