Trump's idea of building a wall (with other people's money) would be one of the largest government projects in our lifetime. If that's not an example of the "government doing it for you," I don't know what is.

As for Cruz, I don't know about you, but I don't own a long range bomber nor any ballistic missles or nuclear armaments, so if he wants to turn a desert "into glass," well, that's something the government is just going to have to do...
