Whoa,.........this doesn't make any sense

Been in TX for 15 years now and as far as I am aware I have not said "fix'n" or "Y'all" in a sentence yet. I informed my wife when we met that when that day comes to pass (and I'm sure it will) that we will have to move that very instance.

I was born and raised in S. Fla. Miami, Hollywood, Ft. Lauderdale , 2nd home to the Yankee Barry-O and didn't move to Ga. until I was 23. Within 3 years, every time I spoke with friends back in Fla. they said I sounded like a southerner. Funny thing was everyone I spoke to , on a daily basis in Ga., knew I wasn't from Ga.

So the lesson here Tree, is even though you might not use fixin' and Ya'll , you still sound like a redneck , after 15 years !
