A total PITA for everyone. For those who do not know PHL, A west has the international flights and is about 1 mile from B&C where US has most of its flights and from where people park.

I assume that the reason is because the next flight with that plane will be out of A west, but it still sux badly to have to go that far on foot.

If the pax were respected or people were thinking, they would be deplaned at B and the plane towed to A west later.

It might just be where the open gates are at that time.

Call the Operations Tower. I'm sure they'd be more than happy to explain why they gate change flights.

Cause they feel that Most Americans are getting fat and lazy, this way they can get some exercise!

Next will be Richard Simmons Safety Video Demonsttations before each flight!

OMG Not Richard Simmons!!!!!!!!!!! :jerry:

It's because alot of those aircraft are used for carribean flights the next morning at a=west and instead of towing them after deplaning them it is easier to put them in their departure gate and watch the passengers misconnect. Some inbounds arrive at a=west from carribean destinations in the afternoon and turn around to domestic flights. We should all be in one building.

A,B,C concourse is no matter.
PHL does things their way, And their way only...
A true mindfull station manager would learn flow control, and make adjustments that are needed. If they want to streamline the ops on PHL, a unilateral change in management needs to take place there. It doesn't matter where an aircraft goes the next day, if the people you bring in don't make the connection that night.

Woops,
Somebodys thinking...

Just my opinion...
