I agree with the OP.
He is simply doing the same thing that millions of other American consumers have already done.
He's made his buying decision based on price.
Very amusing that he would debate 777fixer.....
(WAY TO GO 777FIXER!)
It appears as others have pointed out in this thread that TimeForChange did not do his homework. For an employee with five plus years the flight between MIA-DFW is free for them as well as imediate family if they are in coach. As the print out provided by TWAnr shows coach fare DFW-FRA-DFW is $442.50 for a family of three. Now if the child is under two years of age and he/she sits on their parents lap the charges would only be $295. However I guess no one would really want to fly international with a child in their lap. So I guess we will stick with $442.50. That's still cheaper than what TFC said the charges on LH were through Zed.
By flying AA he would save $7.50 and fly D1. As opposed to LH where you would be below any LH employees, family or freinds of LH employees who happened to be flying that day.
Here's a bit more info on the subject. An AA employee with 25 plus years would pay $140.40 for a family of three.
The reason I said this was because I read in LOCAL 514s RAG letter that they were currently looking for work on NWA aircraft.
Thats OK by you

So just because a publication put out jointly by AA and 514 you said AA should outsource it's heavy maintenance? Either the morons at 514 union hall did not know what was being printed or they did and said nothing. So some poor sap on the shop floor should lose his job becasue of someone elses stupidity? Makes sense to me!
