I'm sure they have a few more cities out west to be flown by East crews. The more they do this the more they should consider some sort of separate east crew base flying the same east flying but just originating out there. This will possibly bite them in the rear with bad weather, sick crew members etc. Again, not saying take west flying as it's all contractual but sort of a satellite if you will out west. It would save on hotels too wouldn't it? I mean we hear about keeping a tiny base vs. hotel costs in other cities like BOS and LGA. I'm sure there is a cost savings somehow. Well of course that would take thinking out of the box. When your dealing with people who are constantly trying to reinvent the wheel I guess we are doomed.![]()

Secondly, if US Airways were able to secure perimeter exemptions out of LGA, they would be completely retarded not to use them for non-stop service to LAX and SFO.
