Love MCI but that is one odd airport. Yes it's convenient to get from car through security to gate but as a connecting facility? I think it's a bad structure. Your right though, every airline minus "WN" has not had a good experience with MCI. WN doesn't "hub" though right? 😉

GRR is not new either, we used to serve it out of our DAY hub back in the day.

When I worked in PIT (1985-86) We operated DC9's into GRR, about 3 or 4 a day. I believe they became an express station in 2001 after 9/11. As PIT was slowly de-hubbed, GRR was closed completely, same story in TOL.
