The IAM has used the AMT's so the IAM can get more dues out of unskilled workers.
If any one out there thinks a AVIATION AIRCRAFT MECHANIC is unskilled go get the baggage-handlers to fix the plane as the IAM thinks.

The PROFESSIONAL AVIATION AIRCRAFT MECHANICS will be held back in pay as long as we are kept as a unskilled worker by the NMB, Company and Unions!
So as I have said the company is not going to pay the paperboy what they pay the plumber. B)
