That would be funny as hell. Florida would be the laughing stock. The PD would be skewered and the legislators that passed this BS SYG law would be roasted alive.

As far as I am aware the gun issue is moot. He admitted to shooting Martin in self defense. He has a conceal permit and his weapon is register (I assume) so if he 'looses' his gun then he is going to be under a great deal of suspicion. The SYG law is an affirmative defense. He had to admit to the shooting. It's a matter of proving it was justified, not a mater of proving it did or did not happen.
