HIGHLY unlikely.

There is a reason that NW was not the FIRST choice. NW has only EVER been a target when it was in pristine condition as in the LBO of 1989.(billions in cash, zero debt, paid for Fleet)

This airline will be the one that determines it's future. No other airline is as experienced in determining it's future...by default. The price will be VERY high if another carrier seeks it...and that will be only with the blessing of the employees.

We have demonstrated that we are no (TWA) no disrespect. We place our trust in NO ONE. We have learned to fight tooth and nail...to the end.

So, it is pure fantasy for ANY airline to dream of NWA without it's employee's blessing. We have been there and are ready for war. Make no mistake, NWA employees are some of the most experienced in the world, and are battle hardened and prepared for anything.
