What about Customer Service, Mechanics and Fleet? Are they the stepchildren in this picture people !
Typical garbage as usual from management pitting east and west and now employee groups in general. There are many who will be furloughed in Pit that will have to displace if available and uproot their lives once again. The fair option would have been ALL AFFECTED ! Isn't that what UNIONS are all about?

But then again no one cares right?

I care!!! This needs to be offered to all employees getting furloughed January 20th, 2008....is there anything that can be done? These employees know they will never be recalled....anyhow I agree with you 100%===ALL EMPLOYEES GETTING FURLOUGHED SHOULD BE OFFERED THIS NOT JUST INFLIGHT

Nobody from Inflight is getting furloughed. BUT, again YOUR union NOT ours...YOUR union needs to fight for you!!!!!

Many don't understand how the flight attendant thing works.

With the flight attendant seniority, you have the flexibililty to bid any base that you can hold. I guess with other work groups there might have to be an opening to go to.....NOT with the flight attendant group!

I'm retired....so I'm out of touch. However; if memory serves me correctly, some of the "other" groups are in the IAM. The IAM does not do anything for their members. Don't expect them to go to the company wanting anything for their folk. The only thing the IAM does is make sure you pay your dues! (all based on prior experiences withe the ....IAM assume they haven't changed.)
