I have a feeling that you're right.  The end result is that the decision will likely take the Nicalau award and, using that list as the assumed US list, develop the US/AA list. End result:  A bunch of whiney East pilots who lost some seniority and lots of money due to no contract, a lot of pissed off West pilots who gained some seniority and lost lots of money due to no contract, and a bunch of AA pilots thinking "WTF is up with these guys?  USAPA is the most dysfunctional thing I've ever seen!".

CB and Prez...

Please do everyone in Fleet a favor, do NOT answer Josh regarding anything! He's a friggin' financial Officer (According to him) outside of the Industry! He only posts here on the behalf of his alter ego to discredit the IAM and YOU guys! F-him!

IMO... The NC has made it very clear what their position is on SCOPE. From the begining; improvements in current SCOPE has been proposed at the negotiating table. From what I understand the issue remains on the table for what the NC must have in order to reach a TA that has a chance of being ratified. Not sure where JOSH is intending to go with this but for someone who views and posts on this forum as frequently as he does; you would think he already knows what the NC's position is concerning SCOPE. Unless, of course, he is asking "baited" questions.

orgac  he just looking for baited questions bec he cannot get over the past with regards to the iam  thats all it is bro.

Then his posts should be regarded as such. Divisive agenda. Almost seems like he's running as an opposition candidate for District office. Regardless of what his agenda or motives are he should be judged by his actions. His posts are all about undermining the current leadership and our NC at a time when we need to build solidarity. Hell... maybe he's US management. My advice: Disregard!

If he's US Management... then US Management must LOVE Nelson...

Josh has repeatedly praised Nelson in this forum along with the MX forum as "Speaking the Truth", and being a "True Union Man". Something is wrong with this picture Cargo...

Something is definately wrong ROA. This is why I choose to disregard Josh's posts. His agenda, along with others, is to divide the membership. At this stage of the negotiation process we must have none of it. I chose to respond in an effort to free CB or PREZ from doing so. Falling on the grenade, so to speak, to advance solidarity. At this stage of the process it's time to move forward on a UNITED front! Ney sayers and second guessers be damned! Lock-N-Load! Get it Josh?

Pension increase for the UA IAM represented employees under the IAMNPF.

Maybe the same can happen at US?

The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) this week concluded discussions with the Board of Trustees of the IAM National Pension Fund (IAMNPF) that will increase pension benefits by 35 to 45 percent for approximately 17,000 IAM members at United Airlines.

“IAM members at United Airlines are covered by the best pension plan in the airline industry, and that plan just got a whole lot better today,” said IAM General Vice President Sito Pantoja, who credited IAM International President Tom Buffenbarger and General Secretary-Treasurer Robert Roach Jr. as well as the trustees of the IAMNPF for their support and assistance throughout the discussions.

Well Cargo...

One thing that’s certain is this... Josh hates the IAM, and anyone that supports the current IAM Leadership. He has repeatedly posted misinformation, and irrelevant replies to intentionally misdirect the thread in other directions when the solidarity theme is peaking.

And lastly, he absolutely worships the ground Tim Nelson walks on, and thinks Tim should be running the IAM. He has also participated in a fake Q&A session with Tim in this forum whereas the main theme was again... to discredit the IAM!

Very unusual behavior from a Financial Officer with NO interest in our affairs wouldn't you think?
Please review the six examples below of his replies that confirm this fact from just 2014!

Again why does everyone on this forum suddenly believe I am Tim? Tim is a respectable guy he speaks the truth and works to unify the membership but I assure you I am an AA FF and not Tim.

Tim speaks the truth, you clearly have some strong kinship with the IAM for whatever reason and are blinded and don't see how it is failing the membership. Again you defend this BS, Tim makes his position known, takes time to research and educate others. He is a true leader and hopefully can reform DL 141.

Prove your accusations. Tim speaks the truth he educated the membership about the disastrous UA agreement you on the other hand keep defending it saying "the membership approved it". Again how many district level positions have you been elected to?

Prove your accusations. Tim speaks the truth, you don't, you speak the IAM/company line and what is best for USAIR not the membership.

How so? Tim speaks the truth and educated people about the implications of the UA agreement, he called every play along the way.

How is this germane to the thread? Tim speaks the truth, he isn't afraid to ask tough questions and hold the IAM leaders accountable. How many other members took their own time and expense to educate and inform the UA membership about the dire implications of the two agreements at a time when the AGCs were misleading the membership? Now the stations are beginning to close and people are getting downgraded to PT.

Josh

So what? All ROA proved is that my position on Tim has been consistent and most of those replies were directed to 700UW. 700 rationalizes the UA agreement yet spent years criticizing people on here (freedom) for supporting the 2008 fleet agreement. Why would that be? And besides when asked you said 141 is not your district.

Josh
