I would suggest the NC uses this regarding the pursuit of a fair and equitible contract in front of the NMB. The NC is seeking a fair and equitable contract governing working conditions for it's members. Nothing more and certainly nothing less. The future cost efficiencies and subsequent profits, as a result of the merger, should be equally shared. If not; then we opt to fold and eventually strike. The nuclear option; where there will be NO WINNERS! Either way... Deal the cards AH!

The best all on the NC this week. Please keep just one word in mind while you are there.
"Retro". Most of us have waited patiently for the last 2 years, and the last thing that anyone wants is for the company to benefit from Jacking us around for this long. Don't hesitate to remind them about the retroactive paycuts that they imposed on us years ago. While Doug wasn't at the helm at that time, I'm sure that AH will recall it.
 I'm sure that many will be satisfied with some sort of a blanket signing bonus,but  that's not the best option for those who have worked many more hours during this time than others. Some people never even put in a 40 hr week, while others are doing many more. It's not fair that all receive the same reward for their patience while waiting to earn a better wage.

My guess is that you are a Nelson supporter and agree with his comment trying to undermine your union and it's negotiators? It's a sad statement that you would put his personal vendetta political aspirations above a moment of incredible importance for all of us. Yes I mean all of us. 

Any gains possibly made this week stand to benefit not just USair fleet but all fleet in the New AA in the future and certainly when it comes to JCBA talks as we negotiate from a higher position for even further improvements. Maybe that's something you need to be made aware of.

I wish the current leaders and negotiators great success this week......

It's not an issue of being a Nelson supporter for me, It's an issue of not getting good service from the district for the money I pay each month in dues. I have not seen an AGC in months and since my last AGC past away, his replacement has been here and talked to the membership maybe twice.  The district plays " let's get along with maagement ", I remember the day when a safety campaign happened without having a 30 day cooling off period. I work for the medical and pay, I am not here so I can boast to the world that I work for the biggest airline in the world, those days are gone, you can't even get on an airplane and go on vacation anymore because they are full and when we go to your guy's policy this summer aguy with no seniority can bump your arse. I know 3/4 of our AGC'S, when they were elected they didn't have all this experience like every talks about, most would not sign a card in the organizing drive. It's just like the political elections, if they don't get the job done, you vote them out. I dont agree with everything Tim does but he does get it right sometimes, The guy's that are on his arse arethe ones that used to work with him in CLT. Yes, I have met him face to face and talked. Last but not least, I hope you are enjoying your raise,because my NC has failed to get a contract for me in the last 26 months and won' work safe.

You truly have no idea how the process works.
 
Why dont you take out your frustrations against the company, they are the ones who wont negotiate in good faith, not the union.
 
And you are the union, not five AGCs, what have you done to support the NC?
 
Do you work by the company's policies and procedures?
 
You have played right into the company's hands, you blame the union, meanwhile the IAM has put the onus on the company, with each update to the membership and you completely ignore it.
 
You do realize AA just got out of chapter 11 and those AA workers hadnt had a new CBA since 2003?
 
Different airline, different union, dont spite them or be jealous, they were behind the ball in many areas and still are.
