I doubt that is correct.

I know maintenance is looking around $38 or so an hour.
700.....you may have MX in your blood but this is a Fleet thread. I appreciate all of your fight but focus on who your audience is.....please for the sake of the membership

Tim are u saying that for us negotiations that it would be around 21 then go to 22 in sept? If so where is this info comin from
I'm saying that it looks like a 3 step wage plan from what I understand the NC offered before sUS will be up to AMR pay.  There isn't much more budging from the NC but they did agree to give up blocking holidays this time around as well last time. It's been a couple months and JG is involved so expect something in the next 90 days. I've also been told that the IAM believes the association trumps the MOU between the TWU and management but even I know that is entirely impossible.  Remember, the association has no legal standing and is NOT even recognized by the NMB. Just because two people fill out a LM1 doesn't mean squat. Bottom line.  It's all BS.  Yes, the association is a good idea and yes, you will hopefully have to vote on it, but it has nothing to do with the MOU between the TWU and management. NOTHING AT ALL.   Expect the horse and pony show to come to an end within the next 90 days.  Unfortunately, the NC didn't ask for more scope or to lessen the flight activity bar. Disappointing indeed.

Tim if this is the type of contract I dont like it. Scope should be enhanced improved regardless secondly I dont like the idea of a 3 step sage increase when we have sacrificed a helluva lot to save this airline from liquidation to the merger w hp then continue to get crapped on by a bunch of jackasses in tempe az who make backroom door buster deals with anther airline unions and we still dont have a contract I believe our wages should also go up as well but not in a 3 step way

My understanding is that there wasnt one survey that mentioned a 3 step wage progression before getting amr wages. Its a jerking off and i hope the nc stops listening to the reagonomics. The pilots got a 35% wage increase so anything less than what amr makes up front is insulting. At any rate if no scope is inceeased with this leverage then im not sure i can say what the hell the nc has been doing this past 3 years.

Even without our members help to bring the merger closer, our peeps should have got a pay raise for july 2012, 2013, and 2014.
The pilots got a 35% increase so i dont want to hear any tom reagonomic laptop false realities that involve 3 tier catchups.

Neither do I.  But it's the same kind of diversionary character assassination you see from the same people when they don't like what others are saying.  Probably comes from a lifetime of playing union gutter politics.

700 is so completely obsessed with IAM damage control you are the second to last person he would probably ever put on ignore.  Nelson would probably be the last.

I agree.

I have nobody blocked, I even put up with 700. Josh ask me interesting questions and is well versed.  I don't believe he is a banker and he certainly isn't me but he does keep 700 accountable.  But I respect your decision Harry if you have to. You are a good brother.
I enjoy posting here I'm interested in the industry and travel nearly every week on AA aircraft and have friends working in different areas of the industry. Tim does a great job educating and informing the membership, it is revealing that 700 and others here are so taken back by his posts and feel the need to attack him. Yes I do work in financial services I don't work for AA or any other carrier.

They can take their 3 step shuffle, and shove it. As a starting point we need exactly what AA is getting now AND Retro pay to cover the last 2 years that we have been getting stroked by the company. Anything less is a NO VOTE. ..

I understand that either retro or signing bonus is on the table and the company gets to pick. Personally, i would find it thoroughly insulting not to get scope increases in this situation. But doubly insulting when the nc has agreed to lower their wage proposal below amr wage level and to graft in some sorta 3 step jerkoff. Folks, the amr contract is a bankrupt contract. If you dont increase scope now then catering and many stations will be subject to loss in joint talks when leverage is less.

Tim:
I have no desire to put you on ignore. This Josh or whoever he is , is the only one on ignore. When some one quotes him that forces everyone to either read or skip the reply with the quote. Me I just skip the reply with quote without reading.

Ditto Harry. Ignore was my option also. When i see a quoted sentence from josh, i tend to bypass the reply and quote.

Anyone know on the AA ramp if they use the "unit lead" system or do the let the supervisor delegate assignments?

I doubt if AA uses the "eunuch lead" system since the only station in US that does is PHX.  They use crew chiefs apparently, but what a crew chief's roles and responsibilities are I don't know yet.

Per the ramp bid packets currently out it appears that US Fleet Service will be servicing AA flights and aircraft coming in and out of PHX by the bid effective date, which is the beginning of March.  They also confirm that we'll be handling our own A330's when they come.  Training will be forthcoming to those who bid those lines that will have them working AA A/C or the A330's.

that's interesting is AA TWU workers doing that now or is it contract labor?
