Remind the board again how which union will ultimately represent workers in MIA directly affects you either as a resident and/or traveler?
When are you coming?700UW said:I call BS. A passenger would never say US in regard to union matters.

I ask for the fourth time, if the twu and the arbitrator both violate the agreed upon time limits, then what is the point of delay? I dont see any point of delaying things a couple months since the single carrier is inevitable. Our negotiations have come to a grind and at some point, the iam has to get real about the reality of pre-joint talks with a single carrier ruling rapidly approaching.
It is happening. Stupid is happening once again here as it happened at united.
The only way out is to come to reality or blame the nmb and use it as a scapegoat. Where have we seen this before?
So why are you coming to MIA? We should grab beers.700UW said:You don't get it, the PMUS employees will still be IAM members under the association, not TWU members.

AA has cut FLL, the LAX and JFK flight are gone, now just DFW and ORD. Not too familiar with USAIR's operations there but I imagine its just CLT, PHL PHX and maybe DCA, its a small station.WeAAsles said:Gentlemen focus.
I had a member who has a huge vested interest in the association ask me if I would go to an IAM represented station. I told him YES. I live near FLL which is going to be IAM represented. If AA grew a much larger presence there in the future I would put in a transfer in a heartbeat. And I told him that I would proudly wear my new union hat.
Again I support the association.
