To say that our negotiators are not negotiating against what has happened in the last 10 years and even more so against the continuing changes and challenges since deregulation itself is disingenuous and suspicious in its accusations.
There are too many items to consider to try and limit your continued insistence to that of poor negotiating or ineptness by those who represent you.
You don't take into consideration the whole rather than just a small sliver of the realities.
Come on the UA agreement is an absolute joke. Too bad it has destroyed the lives and careers of many due to the NCs unwillingness/incompetence to negotiate something better.

From what I understand many of the items within that contract were able to be implemented prior to its signing? That's why I asked so many questions further up the thread.

I've asked if the majority being harmed were former CO employees who prior had no CBA to work off of to protect them?

I don't think so, Tim or T5 will know but both EWR and ORD have been hit with downgrades while ORD hires temp PT off the street.

I just think that there is a lot more to this than meets the eye? And we're also comparing our contracts with it which is unfair in the consideration of the CO/UAL story. It's totally different puzzle and picture I'm sure when put together.

Once again you use the word hit, that was an option for those that didn't want to go to the system.those individuals chose to stay but you and Nelson want to take that option away from individuals. We all know.

Did these members have options to remain Full Time in the system? Were there "openings" within the system or would they have had to bump others down or out? Was there any moving allowances?

jet job
why dont you take a selfie and put it on your pic.

Im glad to have you back, u are our number one vote getter for us. Id like to encourage you to redouble your efforts at united as well. Just keep going in breakrooms saying how good the ramp contract is even though your own storekeepers came out strongly against you everywhere.

And btw, thanks for bringing the iah storekeepers to the local. If u were lucky you got two votes out of ten.

As an aside, it was very exciting to know that you finished dead last in your own local for nominations, and troy finished dead last in sfo.

Thank you Jet Job. Can you enlighten the readers on this thread with more information regarding the circumstances that encompass the existence of that UAL contract?

I'm basically trying to get past all the spin and hyperbole surrounding it and get to the meat and potatoes as they say.
