Ok readers it looks like the politics has once again kidnapped the conversation. I really hope we can all do better than this in the pursuit of knowledge and honesty?

  Good Bad or Indifferent. There are many things that come to light with communicating with Tim. Im not a big fan but I'm not an agitator either. Your decisions are yours. Ours will be ours, but they will be talked through extensively. What a concept!

Actually, if Tim claims to have a masters degree, the Membership should know from where, and when...
After all... he will collect over $100,000.00 a year of dues payers money if he is elected!

  I for one am not interested in the least. I never asked anyone in there now and i would let the locals and the process decide their education.

Since there are ongoing negotiations currently and there will eventually be JCBA talks as well it is very important to understand any contracts that may be compared to ours in those future talks. In this industry where one goes the other sometimes tends to follow.

It would be foolish to ignore that reality so of course it should be discussed as it may affect all of us in the future.

With all due respect... let's not go down this road of distraction. This was not an issue 6 years ago when you supported him. Why should you make an issue of it now?

can u explain what happens to the negotiation committee and/or negotiations if new officers are elected?

Would you be kind enough to explain the single carrier filing and when?

And the iam leaders stance on stand alone negotiations.

When will a release come?

Why did delaneys team go into joint talks with $0 and what is the difference with usairways talks, if any?

Id appreciate you witholding your anger towards me and focus on those questions. Id be happy to share with you what my thes subject was on but i havent the time over the next two months to subject myself to personal attacks. If u can stick to the ua contract and tell us how necessary it was then u r on the right subjects.

His explainations to this point, concerning scope, seem to be prompted by the company. A position the NC at UA got comfortable with. JJ can spin it any way he wants. In the end; The TA brought back and sold to the membership at UA was inferior. A contract that will cost countless jobs and members being reduced from FT to PT. Is this level of representation all the members can expect for their union dues? The IAM, the District 141 Leadership and the UA NC had an opportunity to raise the bar regarding wages, scope language and working conditions of the members working in the craft in this industry. Instead, as a result of the UA contract, they have lowered it. Spin it any way you want JJ. If it walks like a duck and squacks like a duck it must be a duck!
