I was just told Gerry Glass is the replacement not exactly good news if true

Glass was Sr VP of Labor Relations in the past. He is a partner at Ford and Harrison a union busting law firm.

But he can get a deal done as Al has a personal grudge and vendetta against the IAM.

Well whoever you get to hopefully finish this off, they're not going to say "Here you go guys, $50 per hour" They're absolutely going to consider the business and what they can actually afford to remain competitive.

I think having the next meeting in DFW could be a very good sign of an acceptable deal being offered?

Very hard to bust a Union that is protected under the RLA. BK has been the only tool they have. Going to be hard to use that one anymore either though with the future financial projections for the US airline industry moving forward.

We I guess I could be described as cautiously optimistic

Ok, after just hanging up with one of my best friends who still works there I'm going to change my mind on posting in this forum.

While I still feel that I owe no one an explanation on why I post the little I do in here, here it is anyway. I still have very good friends working that  care about very much & want to see you all get the best contract & not get fucked. Now if & when that happens I will be glad to "fly into the sunset " and let this place go. After this conversation I'm also more determined than ever to use my one vote as a retiree to help make sure Nelson doesn't get elected. I owe this to my friends who have been saying PLEASE.

Harry
Harry,
In your heart, do you honestly believe the delaney's US agc's have been doing their jobs. They need voted out.

He has been at NW, US and consulted at many airlines, he specializes in concessions and bankruptcies.

Tim was one vote, come on now.  You keep insisting Tim is on a power grab and has been unsuccessful yet then out of the other side of your mouth say he got Delaney and all these AGCs elected.  Which is it?

Josh, you should put him on ignore.  Delaney's group hasn't accomplished one thing in 6 years other than bring us the 2008 POS agreement at US AIRWAYS, blow up the HAL and UAL contracts, and usher in attendance policies. They were given a shot and they exploited that and did nothing other than party in Vegas.  I wish them the best after they lose in June.

Were you at US in 2005?

Nope, I was, I lived it, you didnt.

Tim isnt successful in getting himself elected, he was successful in getting Delaney, and others elected after bankruptcy part 2.

If you dont believe me ask anyone on here.

But what you think doesnt matter anyhow, you are full of lies and misinformation anyhow.

If Josh put me on ignore, how would you read my posts then? LMAO!
