They're absolutely going to consider the business and what they can actually afford to remain competitive.
No doubt.

Conversely, the NC would do well to remember the role their membership plays in generating revenue/remaining competitive, etc.

Very hard to bust a Union that is protected under the RLA. BK has been the only tool they have. Going to be hard to use that one anymore either though with the future financial projections for the US airline industry moving forward.
Why bother busting such a pliant lot? Given the last few face plants we've seen at the table, they're likely banking on Glass coming in, playing hardball, and watching the NC cave. I sincerely hope the exact opposite plays out...

Delaney reports that Hemmenway has been removed from negotiations and replaced by someone ordered by the Company to get it done.
Glass been involved with these negotiations for about 6 months now.

Glass coming in to negotiations is pretty much the norm from what I understand. AH is still there. It's just that Glass does most of the talking now. But nobody has been replaced. But my understanding is Glass has came in in the past when things start winding down.

Latest update on negotiations is on district web site at www.iam141.org click on the update icon when you get there.

SCOPE/TA/CBA. I'll start with my state CA. The fact is between 4-15 flts. daily X 7. My bet is if the IAM/LCC/FS Members ratifies CBA there will be FS Agents working in LAX/SFO/SAN/SNA/SJC/SMF . Any other AF Yahoos ! want to inform US ? The DEVIL is always in the details.

Hey CB, just wanted to remind you of my position on scope .... i will vote no on any contract that results in the loss of even ONE fleet service station...not only that but I will come out swinging against such an offer ..

I know this is a serious change on my part from the last contract but that's how I feel now ....

No more middle class American jobs outsourced to the lowest bidder , I won't stand for this type of behavior from one of America's largest corporations that's been given congresse's blessing despite serious misgivings on the part of many state, and federal entities.

I totally agree with you. There is only 1 problem.

Fleet will see future benefit cuts as has happened before unless the multiplier is increased.

Were you at US in 2005?

Nope, I was, I lived it, you didnt.
Tim isnt successful in getting himself elected, he was successful in getting Delaney, and others elected after bankruptcy part 2.

If you dont believe me ask anyone on here.

But what you think doesnt matter anyhow, you are full of lies and misinformation anyhow.

He hadn't been "invented" yet...

Don't understand what you mean by " planned cuts" the cut has already took place as of 1/1/14. But if your asking if the pension amount is being addressed the answer is yes.

Awesome.  Do you think they could incorporate language similar to AS/Alaska Air that allows a choice between IAMNPF and 401K?
