I totally agree with you. There is only 1 problem.

I won't ever see your vote to validate that !
If I have to fight against an offer that eliminates the jobs of US Airways employees who helped make this company the largest airline in the world you won't have to see my vote , you and every employee of this company will be well aware of my very VOCAL opinion. .

SCOPE/TA/CBA. I'll start with my state CA. The fact is between 4-15 flts. daily X 7. My bet is if the IAM/LCC/FS Members ratifies CBA there will be FS Agents working in LAX/SFO/SAN/SNA/SJC/SMF . Any other AF Yahoos ! want to inform US ? The DEVIL is always in the details.
That's a floor of 28 departures/week. What's the current minimum?

...And yeah, the Devil is ALWAYS in the details!

Awesome.  Do you think they could incorporate language similar to AS/Alaska Air that allows a choice between IAMNPF and 401K?

Josh
Don't see that happening on the section 6 agreement. I would think its possible in the joint agreement.

Well whoever you get to hopefully finish this off, they're not going to say "Here you go guys, $50 per hour" They're absolutely going to consider the business and what they can actually afford to remain competitive.

I think having the next meeting in DFW could be a very good sign of an acceptable deal being offered?
Location. Location. Locaton.

Tim was one vote, come on now.  You keep insisting Tim is on a power grab and has been unsuccessful yet then out of the other side of your mouth say he got Delaney and all these AGCs elected.  Which is it?

Josh
The latter. He was very instrumental in promoting change with the Delaney Team and voting the Canale Team out of office. Was benched by the Delaney Team and here we are today being asked to vote the Delaney Team out and endorse the UFC slate. I think I see a pattern.

Glass coming in to negotiations is pretty much the norm from what I understand. AH is still there. It's just that Glass does most of the talking now. But nobody has been replaced. But my understanding is Glass has came in in the past when things start winding down.
Glass has indeed been brought in to negotiations near the end. It's been done in the past. Just as IAM Grand Lodge Representatives are brought in. It should be viewed as both parties are getting close. Nothing more; Nothing less.

Hey CB, just wanted to remind you of my position on scope .... i will vote no on any contract that results in the loss of even ONE fleet service station...not only that but I will come out swinging against such an offer ..

I know this is a serious change on my part from the last contract but that's how I feel now ....

No more middle class American jobs outsourced to the lowest bidder , I won't stand for this type of behavior from one of America's largest corporations that's been given congresse's blessing despite serious misgivings on the part of many state, and federal entities.
Welcome back Freedom.

Kev 3188. Status Quo until 4/01/2015. 2008 IAM/US /CBA 8 flts. X 7 = 56 wk. (69 seats) SCOPE prior to merge with AWA. Transition SCOPE IAM/LCC/ CBA 4 flts. X 7=28  AWA Stations. Current AMR/TWU/CBA SCOPE 15flts. X 365 = 5,475 yr. Current FS /IAM/LCC Stations = 35.  FS/TWU/AAL = 17. Why Brother TN and some on NC RAGE against the MACHINE for improved  SCOPE ! If not now ? then when ? Fish On !

That's good to know when Delaney is standing in front of us with political pom pom's or actually here to update us. The last time he "walked the property" was when he was running for the job he has now. It's a shame that he hasn't taken the time in that many years. The election is next month....... right? There were alot of breakrooms expecting him to show up with you that he never showed up in. Why?

I was standing there when he said Hemmenway was replaced.

Jerry Glass drug our a$$ through bankruptcy and stripped us of everything. He is the head of the corporate spear that used us to pave the way for all the other airlines to legally rape its labor groups. How do we not expect him to try to manipulate us into concessions once again. No disrespect intended, but what makes you confident you can play chess with him?

@UWS--Let me guess... if we elect new (different) Leaders, Glass will not be Glass, and the Company will literally bow to their replacements!

Political campaigning is nothing more than a “pay me now, I’ll do the work later arrangement”!
