Do me a favor and do the Math will you?....I can.t believe that I'm right. I have to be missing something ?
Did you calculate it as a weekly figure? A BILLION is lot of friggin' cash... I'm thinking just the interest would be sufficient to pay a strike fund that matched wages!

Yes....

Tim figured it as a month but if 700 is right it is $25 increments weekly

The way i calculate it at 1 Bil $ is 35 increments of 25mil in the remaining 875mil after 175mil which would be after the initial 200$

35 x $25 increments=  875$....plus the initial 200$ at the 175 mil mark totaling $1075.00   Damn...someone else do the math but i think I'm right !!!????
that is correct. Anything over $350 and most of us wouldnt mind staying home for the summer since the wages are so low. $350 a week would be a pay raise for most part timers and those on the lower end of the scale.
cb or prez, what are the strike benefits going to be? Drum roll please....

dare i stand corrected again? Great. I love being wrong as it may actually be beneficial for a monster "yes" to strike vote for more than one reason. Did 700 respond? Buffys numbers that he confirmed in the reference to cronk not being able to handle the one billion dollar strike fund are telling.

I think that your strike fund will be increased. How much, I don't know. The District and the International are on the hot seat right now. After the Boeing mess, and this District's failure on our contract, I'll bet they will increase it to save their hides. Like Tim said, this is the best time to push for an increase. This sorry leadership needs all the support they can get and doing right by you guys can garner some good will.

I went by what 700 posted. I don't think he is the type to correct a cut/paste, but it is weekly according to his post.

Plus it goes down accordingly in increments when you start depleting the fund so they should at least be conservative in the payout so as not to use too much of it. Say 350-500?

The hubs should fight for 24 hr by sept. They will ultimately control our situation

Well mike it is what it is ...

Ill tell you this much ,if it comes to a strike vote and the membership rejects it you can kiss the IAM goodbye ...

I strongly suggest that our unión not worry about wage gains and simply focous on job security for the membership .
Do you remember the videos on youtube of the demonstrations on the PHX ramp before the TA was voted on? You were the dumbass yelling, STRIKE STRIKE STRIKE! There was no way to strike but you were yelling that like a buffoon. Is that what you are? A buffoon? I know you have a tendency to become a retard when you see a computer keyboard. You are just talk. You make me sick.

Are you kidding me?

This is the guy who sold out his brothers and sisters for the money, you need increase in scope and money.

Its been two years since you had a raise, enough is enough.

You are truly a piece of work.

So at 5 mil its $150 and it goes up 25$ when it gets to 150mil?....
100$ is not that far off as tim said.

I just wish people that are not involved would just stop the rhetoric and fighting on here and start teaching. Be Bi-partisian and just give some direction, because you all know that the company is disrespecting us. Past decisions that were made are just that " in the past ".  These are different situations.

Sometimes i don't know who is worse. People with the "Freedom" mentality or those that know it all and somehow think it is better that we listen to them. I respect all your past services but it's time to change what is happening to this workforce. If UA couldn't do it, maybe we can. There are a large amount of Fleet who now understand what we have to do. Guide us but don't act like we can't think for ourselves.
I agree "33" we are about as functional as congress in terms of agreeing on anything!

I'll tell you what... I'll stand down on jabbing Nelson... unless of course, he posts something that is absolutely incorrect, and can be proven to be incorrect with hard documented facts.
As far the name calling and accusations-- I agree, it's all counterproductive. I'm willing discontinue the practice until the whole issue with this agreement has worked itself to conclusion.

Just out out curiosity, what do think about a financial officer (Josh) for a major financial firm chiming in with irrelevant and totally false information? Doe's that fit the "not involved" criteria?

You constantly harp on freedom for voting yes, but what responsibility does the nc have for bringing this out to vote? The same way you deflect all criticism towards the district about the UA cba, and say it's up to the members to decide. You haven't blasted one of them for approving it. Meanwhile, you aren't a member of 141- so how is it your business how freedom chose to vote? You speak out of both sides of your mouth.

Sope yes ,but money really ? While we would all really like more money at this juncture its nowhere near important as scope ,we have after all just merged with AA and weve got a joint contract in our future .

Do you remember how he was on here gloating after the TA was passed. He knew a lot of stations would be outsourced, he shed a few crocodile tears but still he declared that he was going to "PARTY LIKE A ROCK STAR!!!"
