tim,has either of the candidates you are running with EVER written a grievance? Have either of them been a shop steward? EVER? Being very bright, does not necessarily mean you can do the job.

pj, both have been involved in helping members, they just didnt need titles.
Integrity trumps voting for 4 team delaney usairways members who were part of that 2008 negotiations team.

Pj, why do you claim these 4 guys will not fold as they did in 2008, and at hal and at united.

You keep saying they earned your support but 4 of the 5 usairways candidates on team delaney were partly responsible for the 2008 contract that you yourself admitted was a sellout. You blame freedom and your station for voting for that 2008 pos and listening to the candidates that YOU support now.

Sorry PJ but asking me or anyone else to support the 2008 negotiations committee as the Team Delaney candidates really shouldnt be an option.
i will make sure in the coming weeks that our members are fully aware that Team Delaney is wanting them to endorse and support the same usairways members that brought back the sh#tty 2008 contract, the sh#tty hal and ual contracts, and have completely F up these negotiations through strategies that make little sense.
As an aside, I hear Gill is telling folks in phl to support someone who ratted out the 22. Everyone will be kept informed.

Freedom did exactly what the IAM leadership told him to do.  I might add that RDU voted in favor as well.  The only stations to vote against the current contract was ORD, TPA, CLT, PHL. 
 
That said, Canale was voted out of office since he was ultimately responsible for bringing back such a lousy agreement.   Same for United.  The United members rejected what the leadership brought back with TA1 when Team Delaney got a worse contract.  TA2 was the result of the membership rejecting Team Delaney's putrid TA1.  That said, TA2 still sucks, so the verdict of Team Delaney's anti union actions in TA2 will be heard by the membership in June.  The greater membership created the Unified for Change team and then confirmed this message in February, so I think the membership can be excited about change coming in June.
 
As far as US AIRWAYS, some things remain to be seen.  Some say Team Delaney has learned from its sell out HAL and UAL contracts and will treat US AIRWAYS members much better , while others disagree.  Time will tell.   Of course, another New Direction broken promise goes down the drain as the IAM nominated Delaney to the United Airline board of director seat, a position that the New Direction said he would never take.

Which is it? Was it Canoli, or the 4 or 5 US guys that brought us this 2008 POS? And honestly, I could care less about HAL or UA/CO. They had a voice and chose to accept, especially UA/CO. OUR NC DID NOT NEGOTIATE THOSE AGREEMENTS.

I wont spar with you on the happenings of the past. I've not said one word about how anybody voted on what in a very long time, I even defended them recently. Anything I say, you will spin to suit your needs. I am not as politically savy as you, or as well spoken for that matter. What I am, is opposed to your "father knows best" mentality towards US Fleet.

Those two members are not only very bright but have the respect of their station.
maybe before you start dogging Freedom for supporting steve miller, gill simmons, and pat rezler on that 2008 negotiations committee, you ought to explain how you can vote for 3 guys who were on that committee and brought forth the contract you claim sucks.

Not surprisingly, you were dogging me two years ago for explaining how the hawaiian contract by Team Delaney was a precurssor to the united contract. You sir were wrong, unfortunately, and i was right. Now with two collosal failures by Team Delaney, you claim that has nothing to do with how the usairways contract will unfold. Fwiw the stand alone agreement would have to have at least what sAA wage is and all current stations under grandfather rights, at minimum, for my recommendation, but Team Delaney never finishes and folds with ridiculousness. Mark my words.

In fact, PJ, kindly let us know one thing this team did in 6 years for usairways or united?

i been giving u some green thumbs up brother. I realize you are a delaney advocate and make some points but none of your points have any convincing merit. As an aside, we need a better communicator yhan yourself but thats just my opinion.

Ive asked you straight up, nothing political about it.
i also reminded you that the majority of these usair guys you support already F you in the 2008 agreement unless you think the bylaws that required their recommendation was a myth.

And, sir, you may not be feeling the Fing of how your team F over united but your boys didnt blink an eye endorsing that pos agreement.

If you wont engage the question then stop engaging me and mentioning me. And you have no right to complaign about your station and freedom for voting for the pos 2008 agreement if you support those who recommended freedom to vote for that contract.

The last remaining promise delaney and his team broke was this week when United management announced in a sec filing that delaney will take the united board of director seat, a promise he said he wouldnt do.
In the sec filing, united management said that Mr Delaney brings valuable management expertise to the board.
this and other public documents will be shown to our membership.

Team delaney F us with the 2008 contract, F hal, F ual, and is now in charge once again in the current usairways talks. In 6 years, nothing positive
