Why haven't you gotten over the fleet agreement from 2008 and keep harping on freedom?

Josh

That is relevant, its about US.

Do you really think before you post?

And I am not the only one who warned freedumb of what would happen, others have posted the same, but yet you dont question them.

Tim,
How involved is Sito in negotiations? 700 speaks very highly calling him "old school" and a "fighter" but from everything I have seen he has caved in favor of UA management and has been all talk about the merger and US negotiations.

Josh
He is involved enough.  Him and Delaney make a great team as seen with the UAL agreement.  What truly amazes me is how team Delaney has F over HAL, UAL, and even picked up a couple more guys from the terrible 2008 fleet agreement, yet a few posters on here seem to believe that after 3 strikes that Team Delaney will somehow fight like hell or not fold like they always do and just accept what management wants.  Mark my words.  I hope I'm wrong this 4th time but I been right 3 times in a row and I'm not a prophet.  Some of us just like looking at the scoreboard which doesn't lie.

The Delaney and Sito campaigners want to keep saying, "Pay no attention to any of their terrible actions over the past 6 years",  as if their past lack of integrity and treason doesn't have anything to do with them asking for votes.

And yet you were the #1 Cheerleader on getting Delaney and others elected.

You have no one to blame but yourself.

I thought 141 was "not your district"

Not my district, was a member of 141 years ago before the split, so it doesnt concern me.
Josh

Using how you think, you shouldnt post at all, you arent an IAM member, not a US employee nor a 141 member and never have been.

Come back when you actually add value to the topic.

This is airlineforums, not joshforums, you dont make the rules, dont like it dont read it or use the ignore feature, instead of trying to bait me and others.

90% of the membership supported Delaney, but that doesn't entitle anyone to lifetime support.  I stopped supporting him, then got fired. You might want to see how many times he thanked me and my organizing team in the old messenger magz, even in the one a couple months before I got whacked by him.   He F over the AirTran folks and we almost came to blows.  A negotiator got hurled off that negotiation team as well when he almost punched Delaney in the face.

this is pretty much all I need to look elsewhere, when you're forced to pay people like this who were never voted in and just used their lips to get there........ no thanks

The membership wanted change and that's why Rich got voted in. Canale had worn out his welcome. I personally thought Rich would have done a better job, in the begining his intention's were good but I thik the money and perks has taken it's toll along with the fact he thinks his position is ivinceable. He's in the coast mode, if he gets beat he'll just retire, if he wins again, he's got it made. No shame on the agreements when you don't have to work under them.

That's what is wrong with our agc's, they don't have to work under the cba.

Back in 2008, we focused on getting rid of the Canale US AIRWAYS guys.  Since then,  Delaney cut deals with Simmons and Miller to bring them back on. So, in this election, actually we will  be voting off the Team Delaney ticket, 3 of Canale's 2008 negotiators, which is the majority of Team Delaney's US AIRWAYS candidates. I'm still waiting for PJ to answer me why he blames Freedom and his own brothers and sisters in RDU for voting for the 2008 POS, when his boys are now the same boys who negotiated that rag.

PREZ  CB  and to the entire nc team   tomorrow and Thursday are going to be pivotal days in dc   good luck      hope the nmb releases both iam groups bec I personally don't think the company's proposal is gonna amount to much   but just something they hope to avoid the nmb releasing us.

This will be the last opportunity that we can hope for a release. After june, it will not come due to the single carrier filing or dispute resolution occurring in June.

IMO, I think the members focus should be on long term.  Not saying it isn't good to hope that the company gives a fair contract this week, but when I listen to my own coworkers, they seem really focused on the negotiation sessions as if they expect something to change, and then get deflated soon afterwards.  We must constantly remind everyone that the things we need for fairness will not come this week, this month, or this year, imo.  It's a long term fight in these stand alones and we have to first make sure we maintain full support from the TWU.  Whatever the case, I believe the members should be more informed by the union officers and shown the proposals of management so everyone can understand what management thinks of them.  Breakroom updates with second hand reports can be improved upon.

The reality of the situation is that in 3 years, all negotiations have produced at this point is a 1% offer.

I have a good reason to believe Bluto is the creation of Team UFC! It's a frame job, and this type of deceptive, devious, behavior is the norm for all things Nelson...

I'm NOT buying the bullshit that Bluto is DL, or anyone affiliated with team Delaney for that matter... they are getting framed by someone... and I hope they have to pay for it!
