That is for 2017 Topout. Yes the structure should include that in a new CBA chart, but not to start.( unless i misread you)
Now JCBA is different. Anything is possible then....

My point is that we should not be accepting $23 as our top out if our AA counterparts incrementally advance to a $24.47 top out. If you remember Parker's stance on a JCBA with America West, "Zero cost increase!"

We will not gain anything without a cost in JCBA talks. We do not have the ability to strike and have zero leverage. $24.47 should be the least we should take, be it incrementally

Again, you are talking top out. I think top out should be more. After JCBA talks we should be setting the bar as the biggest airline.
Thanks for including all the quote as Tim didn't.  Who said anything about our top out being $23.00 ?????  I haven't seen a CBA yet from the NC.

Not sure what incrementally for you means yet.

Funny how you expect $23.00 parity at least with AA in sept and now say we should start at $24.47.  I wish the same for sure but am being realistic. Stop trying to make election points by flip flopping.... He was saying it should be a starting point..........

No idea how ROA got involved in this.
I thought every one of us expected parity of $23?   What do you mean you are being realistic?  You don't expect our stand alone agreement to advance our wage past AMR bankrupt wages after 2015?  There are over 40,000 ramp workers in this industry who come under compensation scales RIGHT NOW that pay over $24.50 an hour.  If you are being realistic, you would think it is at least reasonable in any stand alone contract to make sure future wage rates are consistent with the industry and not bankrupt AMR.

I just push, 'quote' for whatever reason sometimes it doesn't quote the whole thing.  Whatever the case, let's focus on stand lone talks and worry about Joint talks later.  The only thing that some may consider in place of higher wages is increased scope.  Unfortunately, that's not what the NC has on the table other than band aid Cinderella clauses.

FWIW, some on the committee are considering a helluva lot less than $23 right now.  We do have a few solid folks on that committee.  But not all are in agreement.

IMO, wikileaks will post soon. The offer that the company presented still was terrible.  I still believe the membership shouldn't have to rely on breakroom chatter or internet reports and that the NC seriously needs to show the membership the company offer and what management thinks about our members.  It's truly disgraceful.

Nice Generalization.

Huh?  you seem like an angry person.  Now is a time of reaping, so there is much hope!  Especially when we change out all of these US AIRWAYS members on Team Delaney that dimed out the membership by recommending and negotiating that POS 2008 US AIR agreement.   June is an exciting time to finally have the opportunity to clean up the mess over the past 6 years and to further negotiations.  Obviously, a release is now over with, so that turned out to be all BS as well.  At any rate, change is coming and it couldn't come at a better time!

I think folks should be aware of the juvenile campaign of personal attacks that Team Delaney does.   Nobody on the U4C team has to attack anything other than the terrible job Team Delaney has done over 6 years.

At any rate, here is some of Team Delaney's "Professional Campaign" which demonstrates their complete lack of integrity.  https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=754753991231866&set=vb.735833103123955&type=2&theater

Here is another childlike picture that is a staple of their lack of integrity.

Again, U4C is not going to stoop down to reducing the membership to an unintelligible campaign.  We will stick to facts and the experience that Team Delaney has at F members.

I encourage all to visit their campaign site where, I guess they can't help themselves being unprofessional.

Huh?  Do you always " seem " people you don't know?.  I'm not angry, just pointing out how pathetic you have become. I gave you a lot of credit yrs ago. I still give you credit........but for destruction not solidarity.....  I have no politics in this but you have a lot. Thats why you are here 24/7 and thats why you don't full quote people on purpose. You won't be able to change anything except your pay scale if elected.

Dont do political face booking !

Lets get back to "Fleet" chatter and not Hijack  this and make it a  Tim or Mike33 thread !

Relax,   Glad you are not angry.  I do disagree with most everything tainted that you say or suggest.  Your remark that I won't be able to change anything is unfounded, especially since I already have changed much in every other thing I have pursued for the membership.

At any rate, you need to give Freedom an apology.  Blasting Freedom for voting for the 2008 POS US AIRWAYS agreement for listening to the US AIRWAYS negotiators who you want to reinstall is hypocritical.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

My name is Rick Russo; I am a 27 year fleet service agent for USAirways in Charlotte, NC. I am also a 3 term Grievance Committeeman and the Vice President of Local Lodge 1725. I am writing in support of The Uni...fied For Change Team.

I have been involved in a Union for over 30 years, not only am I a member of the Machinist Union but I have been a member of the Teamsters Union and the United Steelworkers of America. When you’re a Unionist, you’re a member of the UNION regardless of which union you’re currently in.

I spent many months organizing with Tim Nelson and Gene Beatty, we worked very hard getting the Air Tran Employees and the United Airlines Customer Service Employees unionized. It has been a great disappointment to watch the current leadership of District 141 fall so short of the expectation we built for these members and fail to bring them the prosperous benefits we were sure they would be able to attain when they became a part of the IAM.

I have watched Tracy Russo evolve into a solid Unionist. She started as a shop steward when United PCE initially got the union on the property, then she became the committee person when the employees wanted stronger representation and currently is in her 5th term. She is also serving her 2nd term as the Local Lodge Recording Secretary because she saw the need on the larger local level. She doesn’t just help the members in her station, members across the system have reached out to her for assistance on numerous issues.

I am convinced that with the other team members from Unified For Change, these dedicated members can bring the ideal of unionism back to District 141 and make you all proud union members.
