rockit, there an agreement that the stations such as JAX are protected thru April 2015 If it were to be outsource before than than the IAM would have one heck of a grievance filed and would win that.
Robbed, what is presently on the table would be considered a disaster by all of us. They have just bull shitted you and us. First they were talking about "Stirke", "Release". Who told all of you that when we got close to June that "Strike" and "Release" would fade and such talk would be eliminated? Who told everyone as Prez and Charlie Brown were saying that June and single carrier or anything else would have nothing to do with it and that "We are ready to strike!".
I don't operate in fairy tales nor do I tell them. These guys are rotten to the core. I'm not a prophet, but I know what is happening and I know that some things they have said are quite juvenile even if they don't know that because they are simply not aware of laws, processes, etc., and therefore have to listen to Delaney shitting.
As I reported months ago how they would finally put their bong down, they finally did exactly how I said and piped down about strike. The main reason why strike and release is dead and that an impasse will never be secured was NOT because of the company movement but rather the movement of OUR negotiation team which moved towards management a bit farther than all of you would have liked.
When that happened, that movement towards management was enough to table any impasse talk. Again, it was the UNION movement that tabled a release forever.
Finally CB 'fessed up' and called the last proposal "A POS" which is contrary to his emails and what Delaney said when they proclaimed much progress and "Look for a possible announcement if just a bit more".
Anyone who is not happy with making a lot less than AMR in September [$23.30] will be thoroughly upset as they were hoodwinked by the negotiation committee into their infamous "Line in the sand over 6 things". LMAO.
Well, it didn't happen fellas. Only in the movies! Merging in with AMR wage was agreed with AH to back load most of it so the TWU members won't get a solid wage parity bump. And other than another fairy tale union update telling you that things look real good and AH has finally opened his eyes for progress, it's all BS. Don't get me wrong, I hope they come out with a TA so the membership can truly assess the situation. But when they waived off enhancing scope and tabled their previous demand of $23 at signing, they truly botched this up. Like I said, a lot of cleaning up with this mess. Can't say I am surprised because past history was always a good indicator of what we can expect in the present. But it isn't done yet. AH and JG have a scope stretcher on the table still trying to stretch out scope by increasing the flight activity needed to shut down a station. Presently, it is 56 flights a week.
WHere is all the "Lock and Load" or did CB and Prez tell them to take their bullets out of the gun as AH instructed? Getting 'pantzed' by AH is becoming quite common for this union but in the end, they will blame the membership and blame AH.
