The term sheet is up. The language will be key. Just looking at the term sheet, it's hard to figure it out.
are there any trigger dates? What cross utilization are they talking about? Pension improvement, sick time, vacation improvement. Health care is silent, what does that mean? Holidats? Wages are prolly the same as AMR for top out imo. Lead pay is a plus.
The most important item for me is scope. It appears that they reached some sorta grandfather compromise where others can do the work but the current employees can't be displaced. Sorta like at United. Dunno. But, such language would at least preserve our current brothers and sisters in small stations, which is very important to them.
Not impressed with any 'no layoff clause' ever. It really doesn't mean anything since you already have the reduction in force clause anyways if you want to move. It's always nice to have more vacation, more pension, if the pension is back up to $82 that would be cool.
