I'm saying that they were required to, whether other candidates did so or not.  All candidates have the right to request to have the union do the mailings with the candidates paying for them.  I requested and exercised this right, and the Atkinson refused through email.  Further, there were some candidates who chose to violate the law themselves, including one from CLT.  He used the normal and customary grievance committee email address to send out a blast email briefing to the entire membership in charlotte 'hammering' the opposition.  The use of union email list is prohibited under law as using union resources or list obtained through union resources.  I then asked Atkinson to the same access for him to send my email to the same members.  He refused through confirmed email.  Anytime a incumbent uses a email list or addresses for political gain, opposing candidates must be given the same access to insure a fair election.

Those were just two of several dozen violations.
So...several dozen...meaning 36...minus the 2 you already listed of course so that would be 34....Thats alot!.....hmmmm could you be exaggerating just a tad bit?

actually the law says it must allow all REASONABLE requests.

im not taking sides and i wish you good luck but since federal law does not dictate what a reasonable request is its a gray area...and something tells me that this has come up before... and the union has an out...

also not knowing your actual request, i dont know whether or not your request was allowable by law, that is why im not going to form an opinion pro or against you or pro or against the district,,  i know you believe it was. its hard to take sides without having all the facts before me.. but if you are telling the truth and everything pans out i hope you get the retribution you would deserve if that was the case...

If only Ritchie Blackmore and Jon Lord were still with the band.....
They had some very serious problems with Blackmore in the end and actually IMO Steve Morse is a better player. Been with them for 20 years now. Lord is dead and Don Airey is also a fantastic player. He left Don his Keyboards in his will.

Pick up there last CD "Now What" and especially "Bananas" from a few years back. Fantastic.

Tim,  the way I understand this is that, if you win, you do not protest but if you lose you exercise your right to protest.  Shouldn't it be either way U4C will protest.  After all if you are protecting the integrity of the process you should do the right thing.  After all you DID say it was close and I am eager to see the final, final results after a formal count is conducted

Do you support labor law violations, 700? Yes or No?
Show me where I stated that.

As a former RS who ran numerous elections, my and the union's integrity was the most important thing to me.

I never had a protest in any election I ran, being Shop Stewards, Grievance Committees, Local, District of International Officers.

Not exaggerating. If I have to, I'll actually post the whole legal document here. For those who are interested in such things, it will provide interesting discussion.

Excellent point if the person who has sworn to file a protest actually cared about the integrity of the process and not just his own ambitions.

Let’see...

Attempting to win by protesting...
Attempting to win by riding a UA wave of dissent...
Attempting to win by slandering everyone on the 141R...
Attempting to win by slandering any Member that disagrees...
Attempting to win by twisting facts, and presenting half truths...
Attempting to win by refusing to reveal educational information...

How long is this friggin list? I’m sure some here can add to it...

Is this what you learn when you get a degree in Theology? I didn't know that the teachings of Jesus were to win at all costs?

Tim is not being honest.

There were only 79 ballots needed in Charlotte.

The Local never closed and no one was ever prevented from voting.

Only two people handled the ballots after the printed ones, and they were not looked at as the stubs were removed.

And this is from the Officer of the Lodge who ran the election.

And the Upper Leadership of 141 said what was done was proper.

And Tracy Russo got the ballots from the District and only 600 were sent to 1725, and she sent out 100 absentee ballots and knew 1725 was going to be short of ballots and never called the District for more ballots before the election took place.

And that is right out of the mouth who ran the election for 1725.

Figures Timmy isnt being honest again.

And more info came out about info, seems Rick Russo lost the title to Baskett, lol.

Ask Russo why he was wearing sunglasses.
