The BA is like 10 pages each, thats all that was changed.
i can deal with that...

how many pages each changed with ours???

take those divide by ten and thats how many days  i guess you think it should take to get the TA out?

we are still way past that...

Guys
That's why I said in a earlier post that I wasn't sure if it would be out before the chairmans conference. I know it's frustrating. It is for me too. But we also don't want anymore of these issues on do we get a raise in January or July fiascos either. We want it done right. Even if it comes out Wednesday,, that'll still give everyone over 2 weeks to look it over and get questions answered. You also have my word that I'll be on here as much as I can to discuss the issues. I hardly think over two weeks to look something over is cramming anything down anyone's throat. Everyone will have enough time to make an educated decision.

Patience is a virtue. Let's start showing some. The details will most certainly be released at the Chairpersons' meeting this Wednesday. Once this happens; members will be ale to review Articles in the current contract that have been changed or improved. These changes will be made available and subject to membership review following the meeting. Members will have ample time to review, ask questions through their Committee Chair or directly to NC representatives at their respective scheduled station visits, prior to the ratification vote. We've waited a long time for this opportunity. Let's be patient and insure everyone knows what their voting on. Let's get it right.
Lock and Load!

Two weeks is plenty of time. But the chairpersons should have had an opportunity to review the contract first, prior to their meeting. That way they would have been prepared to ask more specific questions instead of just having another contract presentation that has a general gloss to it.

Scope is the most important and then we have to make sure there wasnt anything obscure that allows health care openers.

+1

Look at the 2016 and 17 wording, correct me if I am wrong, but if we dont extend the agreement does it mean we wont get those raises. Anyone see snakes in the grass?

Perhaps not enough to go on yet.. I just feel we are being placated

I can see it now hey the natives are getting restless. They want the language.. OK well change up the style of payscale throw that out there again.. That shut them up before..

Exactly. And who would have ever guessed that Mr Rogers was a member of the Illuminati. Those hand puppets were very pervasive.

Effective 9/12/2016: In the event that a Joint Collective Bargaining Agreement (JCBA) has not been reached for the fleet service classification at American Airlines, base wage rates will be increased by 2.1% and the amendable date of the contract will be extended one (1) year. It's automatic extension twice....

Take it easy and read the language when it comes out.

Lets see the language but my presumption is that the wage parity includes longevity as well. So assuming delta gets a 3% next april then if i remember correctly the pay parity will be around $24.50?
And the future increases would b based off of that. TBD is a good thing in this scenerio.

For those who busted my balls telling me that it was none of my business pushing a no vote for ta1 at united, now you may be able to enjoy greater pay because ta2 increased the ua base wage

Many of you refused to acknowledge the reality of pattern bargaining. Now it should be more evident to all of you why we should broaden our engagement fighting for our craft eleswhere.
