True... and besides, since when did APA worry about lawsuits?  The West thinks they have such leverage with a lawsuit.....   ooh, scary!!   Even if we ASSUME the 2005 TA is NOT nullified, we do have to remember it was APA that stapled most of TWA for furlough fodder and where smart enough to get ALAP stiffed with the DFR.  😀  
 
I can't think of any scenario where the APA is worried about a lawsuit.

I so totally agree with this post. APA is not afraid and will do what is best for them in any negotiation... Without fear..

More good news for east. My 1st 4 day being bought for this year and 4 were bought last year. That was nice having 12 days off just before Christmas. 🙂..
Question for east. Can I pick up a 1 day on thurs?. The last dY of my original 4 day and get paid for that on top of the 4 day being bought?

Yeah.  It's amazing.  I had my trip bought last week, and picked up another to double-dip.  And then they bought that one, too.  I decided not to try for three, and just stayed home.  And yes, it's only January!

Must be nice being an east new hire. Right out of the gate a 767 I right seat. Massive attrition.
Captain in 10 months.
No looking back.

Some of those new hires needed a good break. I know one that spent the last 15 yrs at a commuter, most of that time waiting to upgrade. I thought I was unlucky because I hit 1000 121 PIC right after 9/11, no hiring. Truth was, I was lucky because I didn't get downgraded and had the opportunity to become a check airman. Guys hired just a year or two behind me never got the chance to upgrade, well, not for a long time anyway. Hopefully those times are behind us.

Leondas is working alright... They aren't even half as effective as the maintenance contractors on the CLT elevators, escalators, and moving sidewalks.
