What?  You want a cookie or something?  Build a bridge and get over it Dan.  AOL got it's a$$ kicked and USAPA may not be the bargaining agent in the future but they DO have provisions to finish the job at hand under: THE MOU!!!

Rumor from FAA inspector on JS is that American will move it LAX domestic pilot base to PHX.
Well, that would suck. Why can't you post a nice rumor, like opening a SAN, PDX, or SEA base.

Voter turnout is critical to show management, East pilots, and the APA that West pilots will not be left behind this time and that, together, we are a force to be reckoned with.
Regrettably, this would seem to be your future.

The USAPA MC knows that DOH is DOA.

Ask them.

Agreed. I think it's safe to say that the USAPA merger committee will not push for straight DOH in the integration of the 3 seniority lists. I think it would be weighted more towards length of service (LOS) and some type of slotting given the size of the APA pilot group. Widebody protections will naturally be put into place to protect that flying that each group brought to the merger. As for Base fences? Not sure the best way to handle that. I'm sure every side has pilots that would love to have access to the others bases. It's possible we may see no fences at all other than around the widebodies. A LOS integration would adjust for furlough time as each pilot group has many that lived through that process.

The integration protocols should be known soon. It's due to be completed on Feb. 7th (12 more days), and an integrated list is due 30 days beyond that, on March 9th. Of course, if we don't agree on a combined list by March 9th, the arbitration process will begin. I actually think we may have a list by March 9th. I think the whole industry has seen how unpredictable SLI arbitrations can be...

USAPA's proposal is going to be weighted like the United Continental arbitration, 65% equipment and status, 35% LOS.

I agree with that as well. Equipment and status would be the slotting accounting for the APA's larger pilot group...

If each group has the same no. of furloughs, then why not just use doh, unless it just makes the USAPA leaders feel better.

So when under ALPA that merger policy went to the minority getting the majority.  Are saying ALPA merger policy equals fair and equitable?

In honor of the passing of a true folk legend, Pete Seeger, we all need to sing Where have all the Flowers Gone, substituting Spartans for Flowers as we go.
RIP

Clearly, there will be an accommodation for length of service.

I don't think there is anything "magic" or necessarily precedent setting about the specific percentages used in the United Continental SLI.  I imagine their numbers were determined, in large part, by the relative LOS and furlough status of those two pilot groups.

I would neither necessarily want or expect the numbers for East, West and the APA to be the same, if they were, it would be a remarkable coincidence, considering all the variables involved in such a determination.

Speaking of which, your West 'force to be reckoned with' is on par with my colon after a giant burrito.

Unfortunately, there is NO single list TO present.
The East and West pilots have never been integrated. We operate under 2 separate lists.

What a coincidence. There is another forum with the same box hauler. You realize West pilots are anxious to fly with yellow lanyard wearing cheats like yourself. You'll find yourself on some very long 4-day trips. Sitting there in room with your giant burrito and Big Gulp while the crew goes out for a real meal.

Enjoy the combined ops.
