The gravity of the situation has now sunk in through even the thickest of skulls.

Consolation prizes for Snap now amount to nothing more than visions of the captain sitting in his room with a big gulp and a burrito while FO Snap is out partying with the FAs.

(So now we know the whole issue for Snap was getting an early upgrade via Nic, because captains on MOU pay rates don't find consolation in gloating about FOs in their room with a big gulp. 😉 )

😀 Refresh my memory, I'm too lazy to look it up. Did Snap tell us s/he is a capt with integrity?

Unfortunately, there is NO single list TO present.
The East and West pilots have never been integrated. We operate under 2 separate lists.


What a coincidence. There is another forum with the same box hauler. You realize West pilots are anxious to fly with yellow lanyard wearing cheats like yourself. You'll find yourself on some very long 4-day trips. Sitting there in room with your giant burrito and Big Gulp while the crew goes out for a real meal.

Enjoy the combined ops.

Very unprofessional comment.  The company is well aware of the situation and the safety aspect of combing crews.  This is one of the many reasons why the west crews will be in the desert for years.

USAPA's proposal is going to be weighted like the United Continental arbitration, 65% equipment and status, 35% LOS.

And why did alpa change their seniorty policy in the UAL CAL integration?   You have no idea how the seniority will be handled.

Since not every East pilot is an Usapian then it would seem to me the two above may not want to avoid some East pilots too.

I would say Mike Cleary figured your game early. He apparently tried to talk the greasy Leonidas lawyers into an early deal. Even went to your state to talk. No go with fast talking Eric.
Mike Cleary delivered the east pilots into merger without an east west contract. Something Eric should have seen coming. Eric is just another lawyer with no street smarts and enough experience to dig himself a nice deep hole. His labor law understanding is pathetic. His concept of ripeness brings to mind the term inept.

Now you are in the Hurt Locker. No contract with the east means No Nic.
Now the east attrition is kicking in hard. The new hires see it makes sense to stay away from your group as long as possible. 10 month upgrades, 76 new hires. And you can't kick them off.
I would say Cleary did a great job positioning the east pilots. Eric? Not so much.

Something you and Fefggie fail to understand is that an arbitrator has extraordinary power only to the extent granted to him via the contract that establishes the arbitration... It's power and it's limits...

The Nic award has no more relevance than the Jury decision that occurred under Wake's court. It's an interesting historical turn of events.

It doesn't matter what the arbitrators think of the previous arbitration. that list was never included in a joint contract as required by the now defunct TA. The TA can never be fulfilled because it is no longer a legal document in force. The arbitrators will only consider what each side (USAPA and APA) puts in front of them to decide..
 
On a side note speaking about LOS. How long have the bottom West guys been furloughed? I would imagine the early East new hires (Once called third listers) are about equal in terms of LOS... Just a guess...

Once again I must ask if anyone can suggest a program or app that's capable of translating utterly incoherent gibberish into even some/any slight semblance of English?...And such represents the brain trust of mighty "sparta"?...Unbelievable, if not already so consistently seen for many years now.
 
Aww Heck! Why even bother? Just cue up more deeply philosophical observations via Pink Floyd and Click to Donate. Perhaps "you'se" could also seek the benefit of resjudicata's "education" in childish profanity from all those "rather exclusive educational institutions" he claims to have attended, or at least have been a patient in.

I'm also aware that taxation without representation has consequences. The Boston Tea Party comes to mind. It seems that the British underestimated the will of the Colonists.
