Found on the internet....... Sure sounds like Munn and Traitor...We all know of an east pilot here that has his own forum and that constantly writes and supports the west efforts to take our seniority. No single east pilot has done more to enflame the west with his letters of support. The fact is, he has invested a great deal of time, energy and destroyed his reputation because he is so consistently wrong about almost everything! Every time the west loses in court, he trumpets 'Leonidas' and their attorney's opinions that "next time we will get them."

People often ask me what is wrong with this particular pilot and not being a psychiatrist, I couldn't really say. Everybody has their opinions. But some enlightened person came up with an explanation that could easily be written about him in particular and fits him like a glove.

Your fantasies of "fighting" are most amusing "LT Hardy". Small wonder that you could be so easilly enamoured of their "heroic" accomplishments on the Field, but Heck! One can't even get any supposed "spartans" to so much as accept purely and basically safe recreational flying wagers, so I must wonder about your "fighting" fantasy at any level. 😉 I've not the vast power and authority of any "officer" in their "army".  I'm not even a "knight" or "dire wolf", but I'll offer you the proper "respect" due any honorary "spartan", and now publicly suggest to them that you be made such immediately. From Judge Silver's ruling I seem to remember that she said the fact that the west voted overwhelmingly for the MOU didn't matter. So, I guess you didn't give up the Nic.
 
The complaint, as framed by her was that USAPA gave it up, it didn't carry it forward with the MOU. And she found that the union had a legitimate union purpose for doing that. She said one of the reasons she couldn't rule in your favor was that there was nothing to compare the Nic with, and there never would be.
 
So to me it sounded like the union abandoned the Nic and they didn't fail their DFR doing so.
 
I recently flew with a former west F/O. It was before the Silver decision and he was torn about whether to return west. He didn't want to, but he was afraid that if he didn't he would lose his Nic # if it were used. If he did return and the Nic wasn't used then he was better off east. As it turned out, the company decided to give them the same recall rights as AA, so he deferred recall and stayed east. He gets to benefit from our attrition and can pick which seniority # he uses, after the SLI with AA. I think he made the right choice and I'm glad for him. Good guy.

A new hire doesn't go above a 15 year veteran...period. A furloughed pilot deserves credit for his time in service. The new hire gets seat protection...that's all. THAT is where NIC screwed up. Better take a good look at United/Continental under M-B. It's a preview.

Subj: ACARS harmonization

When I called the HQ to ask about why we can't input the delay codes or RFD via the free text function of the ACARS and have our dispatcher adjust the times (like the real AA pilots ) I was told there is a "....working group...." assigned to the issue of ACARS harmonization.

This made sense to me since they told me the ACARS at AA and ours are different . Just spoke to an AA pilot who just told me they have 3 different ACARS units on their fleet and they are all different.

So with this information I made an attempt to speak to the "...working group..." on ACARS harmonization in Tempe or Dallas to get more clarification on the delay for us entering our delays.

After being told over and over that there was a group working on this issues I asked for the name and email of one specific person on this group so I could speak with them.

They never gave me a name but they told me that the issue ".....had been dealt with...." and they had moved on to other subjects.

When I again asked the name of one person in this group so I could ask what "....had been settled...." means, they did not have a name to give me.

Strongly suggesting and asking and requesting and urging that our reps and the BPR and Gary ask Capt Hale when the issue will be resolved so we can use the free text function of the ACARS to enter delay codes so we are paid for them like our AA brothers and sisters .

Yes I know we can keep a notebook of every flight and scraps of paper from the printer and keep filing PE-80's but we should not have to do this.Can we file another PE-80 for the time and hassle of filing the PE-80 in the first place ?

What does Capt Hale say when you have met with him on this subject ?

All it would take is a 10 minute session with the dispatchers to advise them about the delay process. We enter the code 59 and the dispatcher makes the change. You don't need to "harmonize" the ACARS, it can be done via free test function today this very minute at no cost to the company.

The company agreed to pay for our delays when they signed
