You mean to tell me that this merger isn't just about a small minority of East Pilots represented by a former bargaining agent?!!! Don't these agents know how IMPORTANT east pilots are?!!!

.

They don't like you Kev, get it.

One of the four Leonidas LLC directors is apparently now employed as an American Airlines pilot;\

Having Kevin Horner associated in any way with this DFR only hurts the effort. How can he adequately meet the fiduciary requirements to fairly represent the class? Our sources have told us that Kevin Horners current union, the APA, is furious with him for his participation in a DFR suit against another union.

If you're wearing it I will! Come on gutless, why don't you show us that we're your b!tch.
Gutless?

Kinda like the Usapian in Philly that tried to leave one of the F/A's in Philly because they wanted to leave early? I reminded him the van was not going anywhere until the departure time. Not a word. Shut him down real fast.

You are more than welcome to try and get whatever offends you from me. At least you can try.

No, not at all dumba$$. Looking forward to pick mine up as well. More big talk from a westoff scab.LMFAO.

I don't have to "try".  Wear your $675 tie or Cleary badge and we'll see what happens.  BTW I have the AA/OneWorld lanyard as well.

Nevertheless.... big talk from a little girl.

If i had to judge based only on the fact that both east and west posters on here seem angry, i'd have to say that the APA is winning. The only good thing about that is that at some point in the not too distant future we'll be APA pilots.

The curious thing about NMB determinations of single carrier status is that it is done on a union by union and case by case basis.  In the AWA / US integration other unions were determined to be in a single carrier condition prior to the pilots.  Single carrier status for the pilots was not completed unitl February of 2008, almost 3 years after the merger.

Yes, it could take that long, I don't know. This merger though is proceeding at a very rapid pace. I read an article recently that discussed how far along they are in combining systems. It's coming together quicker than prior mergers. Hopefully the merger will continue quickly and smoothly. I'm afraid those that hope that it doesn't are far more concerned with their personal agendas than the well being of the combined airline, which in my opinion has the potential to be not just the biggest, but the best.

I hoped for SLI by Mar. 9th, but that opportunity is gone. The quickest way now is for the NMB to name APA as the union, thus starting the 90 day countdown to a contract(30 days to negotiate and 60 days to arbitrate), and then on to the seniority arbitration(according to the MOU). Slowly, but surely. Prop your feet up and watch the show!
